First time here. Discovered it driving by. I had Plato Guanaco. The tamal, platános, yuca, rice and beans were great. I didn’t eat the pupusas de chicharrón. I tried my wife’s and they were good, they do need more meat in it as a reviewer here noted. My wife makes pupusas and curtido and she can make it bette but these are decent. The plate is huge. I feel like the pupusas were well worth the price! Absolutely delicious and filling! The pickled veg was not the most flavorful but pleasantly crunchy. Idk who is choose Jack in the Box over these, not me for sure lol
If you're familiar with how good pupusas can be and what they should taste like, definitely don't go "out of your way" to go here. If you're already in the area and you're hungry and you want to support a small business, maybe still go here!? I would still go here over...like...Jack In The Box, which is next door. But personally, now, next time I'm in the area, I would just go in the next door Fred Meyer and buy some snacks...
