This is my Tuesday go to for lunch. 5 $ plus tax for a papa burger combo. Cant beat that. Ive never gotten the rumblings afterwards, snd everyone in super friendly. More bang for my bucks ?

I thought a&w would satisfy my hunger... I looked over and McDonald's was packed and I was the only customer at a&w on Kennewick avenue in Kennewick at 1:30 p.m. on July 1st '23. Approximately 1 minute after I place the order at the drive-thru I received the sack with the food in it.... It was very disappointing...cold,old in poorly wrapped..! I think that's why McDonald's was packed in this particular AW was very very very slow....

A@W papa burger, ahhh so good, and if you go the right day, it's two for $11.00 ?. Double meat cheese, and all the rest of scrumptious!! if this burger isn't on your burger must have list for the month, it should be!! That first bite is such a mouth explosion of flavor, of burger goodness that takes you back to the day, when it was one burger on the flat top, and the cook had time to make it such a great burger ??. Great experience, fantastic food, great service, super clean, and fantastic people, rates this restaurant five ⭐ ??

ABUSIVE GENERAL MANAGEMENT - YOU NEED TO GET TRAINING! Besides the luke-warm fries and this burned, rubberized Coney Dog, the General Manager at this location is incredibly rude. He also REFUSED A REFUND after telling me to bring the food back!I called to complain, he laughed, pushed the phone buttons so he couldn't hear me, lectured me on why he was rude and rushing us in the drive-thru (they were not busy) and hung up on me! His only response was that I could bring the food back for a refund. Which is what we attempted....but he refused to refund us and told us to leave his store, because we were harassing him!?I feel harassed by him! His behavior was worse than a toddler and the food was something that NOBODY should eat....was it even a hotdog??AVOID THIS PLACE, UNLESS YOU WANT RUBBERIZED FOOD AND POOR, ABUSIVE TREATEMENT!

Hamburger meat was many times saltier than pickles and talked to the manager on 2/14/23 swing shift letting him know issue and he said that if you don't want salt on your food you have to tell them when you order your food. I have never had to do that and I was an a&w customer for over 40 years. Family and I will not be coming back for a&w or Kentucky fried chicken food at the Kennewick avenue location.

Unbelievably rude staff. They insisted that I go park while they made my food. Nobody likes doing this. I pointed out that there was nobody in line beind me and there was no reason to go park. The employee at the window told me I have to go park because they're on a timer. I'm assuming there is a reason for the timer and it's not to see how fast you can park the customer somewhere else. The employee offered me a refund. I told her i didn't want a refund, i just wanted my food. She then told me "then you'll have to follow the rules". Now this is a rule??? She summoned the manager who had every bit as snotty of an attitude as the employee. The manager then insisted I move my car, I again protested and she also offered me a refund. Again, I said I don't want a refund, I want my food. Eventually, I moved as it was clear they weren't going to make my food until I did. Once I did move, I got out of my car to look through the window because now I didn't trust them not to mess with my food. Now, instead of making food, the entire staff was Huddled in the kitchen laughing and joking, presumably about thus encounter. 1st I have an issue with being parked when there is nobody in line behind me. They're clearly circumventing the "rules" themselves by moving cars along without this food to appear as though they served people fast enough. 2nd I have an issue with the terrible attitudes of the employees and manager. 3rd ... the fact they were all laughing and joking about this, made me very nervous about the quality of the food. I decided I would take that refund after all. I will not go back to this place and I would highly recommend anyone considering them look at going to one of the multiple fast food restaurants within a stone's throw of this place. There is a reason there is no line to wait here. These employees are going to put the owner out of business at some point. Covid is not an excuse for poor customer service.

The people working seemed kind of out of it. They made sure to get the correct change to me when they ran out of 5s, though, so I could tell they were working hard and doing their best.The food was not great. The burger was extremely salty and slightly undercooked and the bun was soggy. The cheese wasn't melted all the way and it was like plastic.The fries were kind of burnt and they tasted stale. I ate three and then didn't eat the rest.The mini polar swirl and Zero sugar root beer were actually really good. That was some of the best diet root beer I'd ever had.The dessert was great, but dinner...not so much. I'm not sure what happened to make it taste like that...stale oil, maybe? Maybe the fries were cooked too long and maybe the burger wasn't cooked long enough?I don't think it was for lack of effort. I could see they were all working hard. There just might need to be more training about cooking times.Visit was earlier today: 8/24.

Worst customer service we have ever had. The person taking the order was rude and pushy. They messed up the order and forgot items. My husband went in to ask for the issue to be resolved to basically be called a liar, that they did put those items in the bag so he took the bag and receipt back in to show the order was wrong and items were wrong just to have the lady be mouthy and rude about fixing WHAT WE PAID FOR (over $60!) it took them 20 min to resolve it and by that point the rest of the food was cold. Don’t waste your money or time here.

My husband went through the drive through last night, and ordered a papa burger, a double bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, drinks, and lots of fry sauce. They got the onion rings & drinks right, but only put the cheese & bacon on our burgers, didn’t give us any fry sauce, and didn’t provide us with a receipt. You may be wondering why I gave them three stars. Once we discovered their mistakes, we called, explained the issue, asked for new burgers and onion rings (since the original rings would be cold by the time we got the new burgers), and they agreed. The second order was correct.

When you go through the order twice with them at the drive through to make sure its what you ordered, they still miss it. Being charged for something you never get. Extremely rude staff. Will be talking to the district manager about the manager on duty(Juan).
