I went in there only to discover they were no longer Moras - which had the best ice cream ever! I asked for a sample of their ice cream and it looked and tasted like something I could have bought at the grocery store. It was fine but not anything special or unique just basic flavors. NOTE: Most of these 5 star revieves are for Moras and not Island Cool.

Pretty disappointed in what this ice cream shop has become. I REALLY miss Mora Ice Cream. Mora decided to fold up shop and hand the reins over to these folks that sell Snoqualmie ice cream. Snoqualmie ice cream is...meh...sort of OK. Mora was totally unique and the best ice cream I think I've ever had. These guys also don't accept cash at all...not cool in my book. I think their employees are a bit substandard as well...

While waiting for the Ferry, my son and I stopped in on a chilly afternoon. The person who served us was really nice. My son got a waffle cone with cookies and cream, which he loved. I tasted the honey lavender and it was delicious. All the flavors looked amazing and unique. I’ll definitely be visiting this place again.

It is a sad day that the delightful ice cream shop Mora has been replaced by Island Cool. While it says they serve Mora ice cream, it’s a tiny subset of their flavors, and I made the mistake of getting a non-Mora flavor. The espresso chip was marshmallow-y and freezer burnt and the hot fudge was grocery store variety with almost no flavor. $8.50 for a single scoop with fudge was excessive. Sadly, I don’t plan on returning and can’t recommend it as worthy of a try.

Neither flavor we got was worth eating & we ended up throwing them both away. Will miss Mora.

We got their Chocolate Peanut Butter Iced Cream and their Mora Raspberry Ice Cream. For me the Chocolate Peanut Butter Iced Cream is much better than the Mora Raspberry Iced Cream. They have a lot of their own flavored iced cream. They do open almost lunch time so it's better to not go there early in the morning.

The best ice cream I've ever had! I wish we had it in Florida.

Higher prices but it's good. We go once a year for a summer excursion so it's worth it. :)

A small ice cream shop with a good variety of flavours available. The service was good, the attendent who helped us was patient and polite. They have some fruit sorbet on menu which is very good if you are looking for dairy free options. The ice cream texture isn't bad but a little too sweet for my taste. I have to say that would rather something creammy and silk with less sugar.Overall it is good option to treat yourself while waiting for the ferry.

Pros: Yummy ice cream within walking distance of the Kingston terminal. I had mint chocolate and it was great.Cons: No greeting as we entered and we were the only customers there. And apparently they dislike water?? I asked for a cup of water. They said they don't have that. I asked if I could buy a bottle of water. He said their policy is not to give out water (or sell it I guess.) If you run the risk of getting thirsty, go elsewhere for your ice cream fix!

The Best ice cream ever (sorry, Molly Moon)! Smooth, super deluxe texture and the FLAVORS! You've never had some of these flavors - every one I've tried is out-of-this-world. I LOVE ice cream; I might be able to live on ice cream. And I am telling you - this is my favorite anywhere.

Delicious! Always a staple for post meal dessert, located right in downtown Kingston with a bit of seating outside. Love the seasonal flavors too!

My absolute favorite ice cream and almost why I head over on the peninsula on the ferry. Tons of flavors but I tend to always go for one of the chocolate concoctions as I'm just a huge chocolate fan.
