The food was really good. Although multiple people ordered different things, everyone was happy with what they got. The service was fast, and the onion rings were awesome. Now for the not so good part. The atmosphere was confusing, and the tables/booths were shabby and kinda gross. I will return just because the food and service was good overall

I went there with my pals for lunch on a day outing. To begin, the food was adequate; it wasn't outstanding, but it wasn't horrible either; it was plentiful, much above my expectations. The staff were kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was where I had the biggest problems. The facility had an old, gloomy appearance, was packed, and unclean. There were black cobwebs hanging from the walls and ceilings. The ceiling vents had been covered in black dirt, soot, or whatever it was, but it appeared black and dirty. I viewed this while eating and couldn't finish my food since it disturbed my stomach.The place was filthy, as if it hadn't been cleaned in a year, yet with black cobwebs and dirt covering the vents, it can only indicate that soap and water hadn't been used in a long time. We won't be back unless they clean the place.
Always love the food! One of our go to places. We have dinned in and take out and are always happy. Onion rings and Milk shakes are on point. Only thing needed to make it better would be more seating.

Dinner hour on a Sunday night. Fourth in line coming in the door. Menus were on the counter. Good selection of ingredients and themes. Ordering was easy. No problem changing toppings to avoid food sensitivities. The burgers arrived in an appropriate period of time; Hot off the grill, ample fries, great presentation, exactly as ordered. The dining room was a bit tight on a rainy afternoon. The outside seating was closed because if the rain. I found the three televisions to be a bit obnoxious, but not overwhelming. The booths were set up for summer attire and not not so much for arriving in rain gear. The food was good and appropriately priced. I will be back again.Parking: No truck, trailer, or RV parking.

I have loved grub hut forever now and I just felt the need to hop on and express my gratitude. Tried asking my partner if we have ever had a negative experience there and we both have no gripes. Fantastic service for reasonable prices and not to mention eating a burger from there is a heavenly experience. kingston is blessed to have such a fantastic dining option and it would kill me if they ever stopped doing their thing. Thank you all for the years of amazing eats! GRUB HUT DOES NOT MISS!!! <333

Oh my God, taking the girls there and getting my fat fingers on those fries, the ketchup and ranch medley, sweet Jesus, followed by the Grub Hut Burger, make a thick man shed a tear. My heart skipped a beat when my tastebuds were singing explicitly, where have you been? Why did you wait so long? We will be back and secretly we can't get enough Mollie D, there's never enough Mollie to go around.
