Been going here since I was a child, always loved this place, the Ma Po Tofu and Soy Beef Noodles have always been favorites of mine, and the bbq meat buns are great too.

Such yummy vegetarian restaurant with big flavor and good selections! The portion is perfect for my husband but slightly big for me which I am totally okay with. Also tried their original milk tea and enjoyed.

I wanted to love this place but it wasn't for me. The flavors were a bit odd and the whole vegetarian and soy meat idea is lost on me. Why do vegetarians want to eat food that resembles the taste and texture of the food they don't eat? Their vegetables are good, very fresh. So that was enjoyable. I asked for low sugar boba tea and it definitely was not low sweetness. I had to dilute it. That said it was good. After all was said and done it's a cute place, but I didn't like the food, so won't likely return.

My absolute favorite boba tea place. It's delicious and very fast and the workers are very kind. Once we ordered food and, thinking it'd take a while to make and not wanting to wait around in the store bc Covid, we crossed the street to sit next to a fountain. We figured we'd go back and they'd give us our food (takeout) but instead one of the employees ran it across the street to us! We were shocked.

This place is a product of exploitation. The owner, “Jae”, has been illegally running this business without the acknowledgment of any laws regarding giving workers tips. Instead, he’s been keeping the tips and created a fake contract regarding that the cafe does not give tips to the workers. Not to mention, he exploits women by inappropriately communicating with them. This establishment is horrific and worse yet the owner should be in prison for his actions. If you don’t believe me, watch this place get shutdown.

We went there mostly out of convenience and I was not expecting much from this small shop, but it blew us away. The veg fried rice and brocolli plate were both amazing. I'll definitely go back.

literally my favorite place to eat right now, I haven't been able to stop thinking about their soy meat buns since I tried them. I don't usually eat out bc I'm a bit of a penny pincher, but this place has my entire heart; the food is always amazing and the drinks are so good I'm thinking about what flavor to try next before I even finish my cup. did I mention how delicious their soy meat buns are?? the staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the owner is so chill he makes me feel right at home. If you find yourself in kirkland, cafe happy is the place to be!!
