Best Mexican food in town. New location is a nice upgrade for the great people that run this restaurant!

We had a special family dinner here recently and we recommend Palenque very highly! From street tacos, to enchiladas, to gigantic burritos, to arroz con pollo, EVERY entree was generous and perfect! We also enjoyed some luscious cocktails pre-dinner. Our server was wonderful, as well. Thank you, Palenque, for making our celebration the absolute best!

Growing up in New Mexico, I can attest that the food at Palenque is delicious and authentic. Huge selection of dishes. We have dined here again and again. The restaurant is spotless. The staff is friendly.

We have eaten here several times since they opened at their new location. Their food has always been wonderful. This time was a bad exception. The rice was dry and crunchy, as if it had been under a heat lamp for hours. The tamale we received was corn mush (fell apart) and tasted like old oil. Their chicken enchilada listed on the menu said it came with red sauce, but instead was served with a spicy green sauce. We ordered a huckleberry non-alcoholic marguerita but got prickly pear. The server spoke perfect English. Clearly something has changed with management. Won't be back, if ever.

The food was not very good. Was taken there for my birthday. I miss REAL Mexican food...They did put a sombrero and Sang and clapped.
The greeter or manager was nice. The servers were rude. But they were dealing with a drunk golfer group of old men in denial about being old. It was happy hour.
