RECOMMENDED!Lee welcomed us and let us choose our seat. We got the menus then decided on food.First up Honey Walnut Shrimp was crispy while being covered in that delicious sauce. General Tso is a must try. Another amazingly crispy dish with a delectable sauce. Kung Pao was fresh, light and not really hitting it for me. Sadly Mongolian Beef was another favorite of mine that was good just not where the other dishes are at. Trying to remember the noodle dish. The others devoured it, so it was to their liking.

First impressions: the place seemed extremely outdated, and had a weird layout. The food we ordered for pick up was soggy. The sweet&sour sauce that we received was gelatinous, that's the first time I've seen a sweet&sour sauce take on that consistency, which hinted to the fact that it wasn't freshly made, it was gross. In retrospect, it seems highly likely that all the food they sold us was old....

(i only ordered Kung Pao, keep in mind while reading this)Food: tasty, but probably packed full of extra MSG because I woke up that night with the worst stomach ache of my life. Not sure I regret it tho, the Kung Pao was DELICIOUS!!Service: I got my food to go, and I asked for extra silverware and soysauce while paying. The cashier said it's already in there - it was not. Had to stop somewhere else for silverware. This isn't an uncommon mistake for take-out restaurants though, so I wasn't too surprised.Price: FIVE STARS!! When I looked at the menu online, I thought it hadn't been updated in a couple years. Turns out their food is just really cheap!! And I love me some cheap, tasty food. Best part? You still get more food than you can eat & they don't skimp you on any ingredients. I would have gladly paid more, honestly.Overall: I will be coming back. Soon.
The food was extremely yummy. The portions were huge. The waitress had no problem accommodating special requests.

I can't say enough great things about Kim Bowl! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a meal with friends or family. Now, onto the food – it was absolutely fantastic! The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes, and everything I tried was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The Beef and Broccoli was a standout for me – tender slices of beef cooked to perfection, paired with crisp and vibrant broccoli. And the fried rice? Oh, it was packed with flavor and generous portions! The staff here truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable dining experience. They are attentive, friendly, and always ready to make recommendations if you're unsure what to order.Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend visiting the Kim Bowl Chinese Restaurant. You won't be disappointed. It's now my go-to spot for authentic Chinese cuisine in Longview!
Service there is always friendly and the food is really good and the food is not overpriced ❤️
