I don’t like leaving poor reviews for a business, but I also want to be honest and leave reviews that (in my opinion) can be trusted. There are much better places for teriyaki… well, actually, only one place that I think is way better than any other teriyaki I have tried, which is Teriyaki Point in Marysville.I think locally owned businesses have to cut corners in today’s economy, which affects the quality of product they can provide. Then they also have to raise prices for less desirable product.Miako Teriyaki does have a lunch special, with your choice of spicy or regular chicken for $11, which is a good deal… but they use chicken thighs that are very chewy and rubbery. Also, none of their meals contain include a soda…. Which most other places do. I have tried the beef teriyaki, which is also extremely cheap & chewy meat.I have given this place three tries, and have been disappointed every time.I’m sorry for being so negative, but these are just my opinions. If I’m paying $15-$20 a meal, my expectations are higher.

This is my favorite teriyaki place in muk. I think it’s changed owners a couple times over the years but it’s amazing now. Spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice is the move. Lunch special is a great way to go.

The chicken breast teriyaki is one of the best I’ve ever had. The portions are large and I feel like I’m getting a good value for my money. Eating inside is meh. Not a lot of atmosphere but it’s a teriyaki joint so you can’t expect a lot.

Everyone is correct. Their portions are Soo Soo small, my stir fry barely has any chicken in it, I would guess 20 veggie x 1 chicken ratio. My Katsu and teriyaki same way, had more rice and salad then chicken. It’s ridiculous. And pricing has jumped big time, my dinner meal price averages $15 and they were asking for 15% Tip. This is my pat time coming here, it was for work and I was nearby.

Sad to say I won't return to this business, since customers retention doesn't seem to be important. I had ordered a combo teriyaki chicken and prawn tempura, I got chicken teriyaki and grilled shrimp instead. I brought it back to woman and explained I received the wrong order. I also ordered 2 other entrees that were correct. She said I ordered the prawn combo, I continued to say I literally pointed at a picture of the combo right next to her when I ordered, asking for the prawn tempura combo. She sat there and continued to say that was what I ordered. Never attempted to rectify her error and let me walk away with the large incorrect order. Never again. I will pay more for those appreciate my business locally.

Nothing flashy but the food was very good. The yakisoba was delicious. Almost as good as my mother in law's. My husband's chicken was also really good. It was very warm inside but it wasn't a big deal.

Expensive, no additional sauce... you can find better deal in more expensive city such as bellevue and redmond...

I eat a lot of Teriyaki places and this one was towards the bottom as far as quality goes. And very expensive. Everything was $14 or $19. I had the chicken and prawns. The chicken was granular like freezer burnt maybe? Wasn't juicy and soft. When you stuck your fork in it on the rice it actually broke in half and did not stick to the fork. Weird texture when chewing and an off seasoning flavor of some kind. Next I had the prawns. Overcooked and dry and crunchy. They just snapped in your mouth when you bit down on them. The rice was delicious and so was the water. The salad was just normal cheap store-bought white lettuce no green. I would not come back here because of the high price and the low quality. Overcooked and dry.

It's a funny spot. The food is decent, usually good flavor, smells nice and clean. The owner is a scrooge, he's always grumpy and unhappy ?And I think he'd sell the entire Korean community for a penny, he loves his money lmao.I've been here over 100 times and will probably keep coming because it's the closest to my house.
It's been a few years since we've been in and typically just order a chicken and/or spicy chicken dinner to go. We like the fact that they offer brown rice which we often get.The owners have probably been there for thirty years and have expanded to a couple of additional locations in the past five years. The teriyaki is consistent in quality and is a good-sized portion. The Korean-born owners always have been involved in local high school activities for their children and others which adds to the repeat business they have there.Parking: Plenty of it. Located in strip mall with sufficient ability to get in and out quickly.

Honestly I have never had better teriyaki (and yaki soba!!) in my life. I first tried this place roughly 10 years ago and their portions have not changed and still super super affordable and extremely worth. Always busy during meal time and clearly loved by the locals.Side note: we drive down from Vancouver for their teriyaki ngl
Recommended dishes: Chicken and Prawn Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki, Deep Fried

Always hits the spot. Portions are so big I can never finish one dish by myself. I highly recommend Combo 10, it includes all kinds of teriyaki (beef, chicken, and prawn). Comes with a bomb salad as well. It’s busy during peak times so better to call to order beforehand. Nothing bad to say about this place, everything I had here was so good.
