This is no longer the pie shop. It is Brownells. The food was good, the prices a little high. They had just opened a week before. The waitresses were harried, ours apoligised several times for not getting back to us.

Best tomato basil soup. The soup was not ready when we ordered so we choose something else. However, before our order arrived we were told the soup was ready and we could change our order! And we are so pleased we did. Thanks for the excellent soup and service.

This place has a 5 star atmosphere- and 5 star food and 5 star staff.They’ve started adding a lot more food and bistro and the food is next level. I had some French toast that was medium rare, still gooey in the middle and golden on the outside. I tried taking a photo but didn’t do it justice.This place is the local hang out for young and old

This place is a shining star of Newport. It's well decorated, very inviting, and committed to its community. You can often find groups of people reading or talking together as well as drinking delicious coffee and eating fabulous food. I had chili with a grilled cheese sandwich today. My wife had a bowl of soup. Both were absolutely delicious. Earlier in the day I also dropped in for a chai tea latte which was yummy as well as half of a chicken salad sandwich with all the fixings that I wanted. It was delicious I would have had a whole sandwich but I knew that I would be coming back later with the wife. I have a frequent flyer card with six stamps on it so four more cups of coffee and I'll get a free one. I've also ordered a Carrot Cake for my wife's birthday. The thing must have weighed 20 lb. I shared it with three other couples and all of them said that it was the best carrot cake they had ever had. I absolutely loved it, for three days. Oh yes my wife liked it too. I love coming here because it's so warm and inviting and the food is absolutely fabulous!! I also highly recommend the Amish bake or breakfast burrito or quiche. My wife and I have had all three several times and have never been disappointed.

Great spot for a quick cup of coffee or an afternoon catching up with a friend over a slice of pie. I came two days in a row while in town for a friend's wedding. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations for all of their sweets and pastries. Lots of cozy places to sit, I really enjoyed our time here.

Just what I was looking for! Coffee - 5 stars - you can tell they make their cold brew from scratch - very flavorful. Service - 5 stars - very friendly and accomodating. Atmosphere - 5 stars - very comfortable - lots of room to sit - great natural light. Price - 4-5 stars - very reasonable for the quality. Overall no complaints and would highly recommend.
