The worst burger ever dried up, limp wilted lettuce. Will never go back and will not recommend. Service was slow and not paying attention.

We had a great time here. The service was very friendly. The space is huge and is divided by a classic Irish pub and a larger kid friendly eating area. We were there on a Friday and there was a piano player which was a nice surprise. I appreciated that it was open late, we were there in the off-season. We would definitely go there again, I noticed they have breakfast and would love to try it.

Very dark and dingy atmosphere. We were told 15-20 min wait even though there were a bunch of empty tables. Cocktails were weak. They were out of all fish…. Service was ridiculously slow (again not even busy)- waited over an hr for our food. In the end food was horrible! burnt burgers/also tasted freezer burnt, no Mayo on sandwiches, no condiments on burgers, dry dry dry…. Waitress was super nice though.

This pub is not what it used to be. Cold soda bread. Ice cold. And very much the equivalence of industrial rubber.

VERY tasty food, I think my only complaint was they do soda bread as a muffin and it didn't hit the mark for me texture wise. Staff were very friendly, and the Shepard's pie was very hearty and delicious. Inside is very tastefully decorated while still providing a lot to look at. They have an awesome gift shop attached, we walked away with some stuff we didn't plan on buying ? but the products are great quality. I'm glad we found this spot, we will be sure to stop in any time we are in Ocean Shores.

Galway Bay Irish pub is the most authentic to Ireland experience I have had on this side of the Atlantic. If nothing else, it is by far the best I have found in Washington or the PNW. The atmosphere cannot be beat. Pub feel, good traditional music and lots of Irish traditional foods, along with some extras that mix it up. Prices are on par with what you would expect in the state.Beer selection is not huge, but is exactly what you would expect at an irish pub. We went on a sunday at lunch. My wife had an irish coffee and I had the galway bay irish red(specially brewed for Galway bay!). Both drinks were great. We also ordered the cheese curds as an appetizer, and they were very good. We also got complimentary soda bread muffins which were fantastic. The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is the dissapointing main course. We ordered the mushroom chicken pastys and the shepherds pie. The "whiskey cream sauce" on the pasty just looked and tasted like white gravy. It was also sparsely filled and my wife had to get through 2 inches of pastry on all sides of the dish to get filling. The shepherds pie was much better, but also had some shortfalls. Both dishes were advertised to come with colcannon, but all we got in both was unseasoned mash potatoes. This was particularly dissapointing because my wife never had colcannon and was excited to try it.After eating we wandered around a bit. There is a very nice patio and game room, along with an attached gift shop which sells all kinds of irish gifts and snacks. While in the dining room we noticed that they usually have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, which would be great to see.Overall if you are in Ocean Shores, Galway Bay is worth the stop. Maybe just stop in for a pint and an app or sandwich, and grab something at the gift shop.

Woefully understaffed. Faux Irish decor. So dark as to require our phone flashlights to read the menu. Our waiter, who was also host and busboy, was flippant, called me brother and friend -- neither of which I am or was -- didn't seem to care whether we wanted to wait until there was a table or whether we left, and never did deliver the water or catsup we requested. The fish and chips were mediocre at best and the clams were scrawny and tough. The cheese plate was good, but it's hard to get that wrong. Like most things in Ocean Shores, it was over-priced and seemed designed to get as much money out of tourists as possible. Not impressed! Take down the huge sign outside of town about how to this place is world famous! it has no reason to be.

I thought with such reviews and they’ve been here so long it was worth a try. They were out of corned beef, go figure, Irish Pub out of corned beef…I had a steak sandwich, it was the smallest sandwich ever! The bread was definitely not a soda bread, it seemed like a grocery store deli bread, it had dry, hard to swallow steak with little to no flavor. The biggest issue was the amount of steak…it could not have been more the 2.5-3 oz. Literally had four tiny slices on each side. My son had the dip burger…same issue, the burger was about as thin as a McD’s patty. It too was dry and sad. My husband had a fish dish, which he said was ok but ridiculously small. The servers were friendly though. I’d never go here again. We had to go get something to eat after.

Wanted to try this place after reading ~ good ~ reviews. Sadly, our dinner and experience was not the best. My husband’s sandwich ~ 1/2 a corned beef with slaw was okay, he stated the slaw saved it. My daughter & I split their Mac & Cheese, which was barely warm although the plate the waiter brought it on was hot and the garlic bread that came with tasted stale. We did not send back, as they were short staffed and seemed to have forgotten about us. We will not be eating here again.

The shepherds pie, French fries with vinegar, cod stew, and everything else was very good. The wait was long, but it meant we had fresh food

07/31/22: We were lucky to find this place after cruising the streets of Ocean Shores searching for lunch. Big biker event crowded many other places so finding something different set back from the street was great. As soon as we walked in and were warmly greeted, we had a feeling we scored a good one. Fish & chips and a burger dip were very tasty, served with two pints of a beer I wish I had remembered. We snagged two comfortable overstuffed chairs by the wood stove and enjoyed the cool ambiance. Eye Candy everywhere and great music to dine by. Such a friendly place, beautifully decorated and fine food. Don’t hesitate to visit and visit the shop next door. Bought a beautiful Irish wool sweater and plaid scarf. Live music starts at 5pm. May go back for it!

You won’t be disappointed coming!Extremely well done Irish pub- best I’ve seen. Looks and feels as if you have traveled to Ireland. Has a great vibe with lots to look at and lots of seating options both inside and out!

Their chef still doesn't know how to use salt. Everything tastes like grease and fat or just has no taste at all. It's just not worth it anymore. It's a shame, really. This place used to be the best place on the Harbor.

ZERO STARS!!!!!! I have been coming here for 15 years! NEVER again! We waited for a table for over an hour and the were finally told to leave because they didn't have enough staff. In the hour that we sat there we did get to over hear a wonderfully personal conversation between 2 employees though about how they didn't want to "be there" AN HOUR TO BE TOLD WE CAN'T EAT. 15 years. NEVER AGAIN. Ocean Shores is becoming a sad reminder of better days, and Galway is it's sinking flag ship.

I come here every year when we are on vacation in Ocean Shores. This is...er, was my favorite place to eat in the whole state!!!! My family cared about the ocean, I looked forward to the experience of eating this amazing food I only get every so often. It has become a tradition in our family to eat here since we started vacationing here 8 years ago. This year however, I am heart broken. I now have a disabled child that can not be seated in a restaurant right now to eat doe to medical issues. So I called to get an order to go, they list it as an option on their site. I called and was told they are so understaffed they can't do orders to go. Ok, so I asked "what if I come in, sit down, order food for my family, get it and then ask for "to go" boxes, can you do that for me?" the answer was "I can ask, but they are going to say to say no, we are understaffed." I couldn't just sit at a table, order like a normal guest and then ask for doggie bags and box it up myself and leave? My child felt so bad that we missed out on this and it isn't his fault. I feel for them and their lack of staff right now, but I wasn't asking for anything truly special. I was willing to be seated, order, pack up and leave. Half my vacation money always goes to this place. Guess it won't anymore. :(
