They accommodate a special order for me a Bacon, jalapeno with mushroom cheeseburger and I gotta say it was delicious I will come back.

Inside the place may not look like anything special but their bacon cheeseburger with their special sauce is the best. Best burgers and fries in town hands down.

Fantastic food! Great burgers and perfectly cooked and seasoned fries. The guy at the counter was super nice too.

Great burgers and even better fries. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

I have been to the one in McCleary. It was good and focused on subs, as the name implies. They had what I wanted. However they were not reliably open, and I read some weird and shady things online. However, as I was working in O.S. and needed lunch, I thought I'd give them a try again. They don't have roast beef for subs. They don't have provolone. The person working was pleasant but kind of strange, and was telling me how they are really wanting to be known for their burgers. So why call the place Scout Subs, which implies they ate mainly a sub shop? The sandwich I got was good. But selection is very limited and it was not what I wanted.

Great place. They are selling themselves short with their name... Subs, burgers, Fish, Chowders, Fries, Chili Dogs...Flavorful 1/3 pound burgers with a house sauce. The kids said it was "better than McDonalds" which is actually a compliment. We are planning to come back and recommend to others. 4 or 5 indoor tables and music and outdoor tables in the back (with not the best atmosphere in the back).Could use a pinball machine or two, but good food and welcoming staff.

Let's start from the beginning, there is zero ambiance in this restaurant. It is stale and un-interesting. The kid at the front was awkward but friendly enough. The options are limited to Burgers, four subs, hotdogs and French fries. the prices are outrageous and really a tough hole to climb out of for a good review. Full sub (12") was $15 a la cart, no side options other than $4 basket of fries or $6 bucket. I went with the basket. My sub, fries and a drink cost $22.50 for to go, and with a small tip it was $25 out the door. Their burgers were $10-$14 And a la cart as well. The food, the sub was pretty good, the bread was soft, and the toppings were good, not as generous as say a jersey mikes or a firehouse sub sandwich but better than subway. The fries were a complete disappointment, they were actually fry bits, between 1/2" to 1" fries, and they were soft/soggy. Maybe the bottom of the bag but unacceptable in my opinion. Overall I enjoyed the sandwich but then I remembered how much I paid and I am instantly resentful, I will not be returning to this restaurant and would not recommend it to my friends. Too bad, because I am a really big sub sandwich fan.

Scout Subs in Ocean Shores has over priced okay at best burgers. Definitely will not be eating here again.

Good burger! We got the mushroom Swiss and the bacon burgers. Fries were nice and crispy too!

My husband ordered a 12 inch turkey sub today, to go. When he got home it was cut and packaged into 2-6 inch subs. We each opened our subs and the first thing we see is a white hair, in each package. ugh. The sub was also smothered in mayo - maybe a personal preference (although I love mayo) there was way too much of it on there! The sandwich itself was not worth the price. I was hopeful that I would like it, but like most restaurants in this town, it's just mediocre, at best.

The food is great. I really love their fries! The employees are friendly. Finally can get a decent burger in town!

Let me start by saying the subs are really good-the bread is baked fresh on site, seasonings and toppings tasty and fresh, meat and cheese on subs are thick cut. But...you may have to wait while they bake more bread. They did tell us before we placed our order (good), but it took over 20 minutes to get a cold sub (bad). The prices are high for what you get (small 6" ranges from $10-$14), does not come with chips, and there are limited choices on the menu. We went for an early lunch on a Saturday, and after hearing all the things they were out of, had a choice between 2 subs-turkey and Italian. So be prepared to compromise...and wait.

Excellent burgers! Hubby loves the fries. Have been several times-service is always good. Now we don't have to drive all the way to the Grizzly Den to satisfy a craving for a good burger. (Although we'll still do the Den when going into Aberdeen. ; ) They're pretty darned good as well!) Wanting to try a sub, but the cold weather has me in a rut for a warm meal. Nice to have this restaurant in town.

Friendly staff. The fries were cooked and salted to perfection. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Got a sub, which I'd say qualified as one, but was pretty blah and over priced for what it was. Cold cuts on white bread with iceberg lettuce.
