The staff was extremely nice and helpful. My husband and I stayed there for my Birthday, and they went out of their way to wish me Happy Birthday. It was great to be welcomed with smiles and friendliness. Something you don't find much these days.Rooms: 4/5

The rooms are huge and the location is good. However they no longer have a restaurant and do not serve breakfast. The mattresses were not that great either. It's still a large glorious hotel that still healing from the pandemic.Rooms: 4/5

While the ocean views were pretty but the hotel was on the older side. I had sheets the had been washed but still had spots of another persons blood. The Staff was nice too but short staffed. Had a long wait to get my room but the staff was nice and gave me a call once my room was ready.Rooms: There was big rooms with tv in the bathrooms or older tvs in the rooms besides the new tv. bloody sheets. fireplaces great setups for the most parts.Nearby activities: The ocean is a long walk so drive your car their.Food & drinks: no restaurant but there is a nice but pricey pizza place or subway near by.

Nice place, but when the facilities decided to powerwash the top floor balconies on the only Saturday we where able to visit, it was a mess. All of the above units green and dirt washed onto our balcony and was left without cleaning it off. They certainly could have planned to do the washing during the slower work week.Very disappointing.

Great customer service! Staff let us know ahead of time the restaurant did not survive Covid, but restaurants around the area are close together. It’s right on the beach too. It is outdated, but considering Ocean Shores is not Las Vegas, I was not expecting the Bellagio. Pet friendly too, make sure you let them know ahead of time before you bring your fur babies. Also, if you are active military/veteran there is a discount when you directly call to book your reservation. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway!

The Shilo experience non existing compared few years ago. Really disappointed but I guess it's a shame how run down it is. The beach is the only good thing. No dining services, no breakfast. Just the pool which is really cold but the hot tub is great. It's a mixture experience and also don't come on weekends since most restaurants are closed.

Location is excellent. Rooms however are dated and dirty. Balcony floor was rotted and squishy. Pull out bed sofa was filled with food crumbs. And it smelled like a homeless camp. For the amount of money these hotels charge they should be able to keep them up.Rooms: 2/5

I booked the junior suite and I was pleased with how clean and spacious the room was. The lobby was unique with the ships and the aquarium that hides the pool and hot tub behind it. Checkin was quick and staff was nice. Downsides: Their wifi was slow and sometimes I had been unable to connect to it. The bad experience I had is that my car window got smashed in their parking lot. They do not have any camera which was surprising. It would have been a good experience overall.

We had an awful experience here. The hotel was in terrible shape with homeless people just hanging out in the parking lot. The check in process was slow. When we got into our room we found that the balcony was not safe to stand on. Much of the wood was soft and clearly rotting out. As a result we could not enjoy the view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff were rude and bordering on verbally abusive when an issue arose with our room. The grounds and hotel itself are in poor repair. The restaurant has closed and it doesn’t appear that they will re-open it. We have stayed here several times and this will be the last.

Paid for a ground floor pet room.witj jazzuzi in room. The room they gave us was right off the lobby, pet stains and dirt stains on carpet, no jazzuzi at all, went to front desk showed the copy of the reservation they sent us, it clearly said Jazzuzi in room. They said it didn't come across that way to them, No rooms left, at all, I said can u ck other reservations and see if we can change to any floor , we had no pets, NO EVERYONE has cked in, it was 2 pm.Throughout the day people were cking in, 2 queens still available, not caring about the older couple coming with their grandaughter at all left in a crappy room.We used the hotel phone local number, talked directly with Ithem. They treated us like the dog we didn't bring.

The most disgusting place I have ever, ever stayed. We ONLY decided to stay after being greeted with a filthy lobby and told that our room that was supposed to be ready at four was not ready and they had no idea when it would be ready. It was ready about two hours later however clearly your crew has no concept of how to clean a room or what a clean room looks like because it was absolutely filthy we went and got our own cleaning supplies and cleaned it. There was not another room anywhere in Ocean Shores Washington or nearby we almost drove two hours away with two toddlers just so that we would not have to stay in this filthy disgusting room. We paid for two nights but all of us were sick with disgust after finding what looked like bedbugs but also other kinds of bugs and wadded up dirty Kleenex. There were crumbs all over the floor and nothing look like it had been properly scrubbed down in 10 years. It was still $250 a night can you believe that? Anyways we left the next morning with of course no refund because The only way your hotel is making money is by fake pictures and location and the fact that Ocean Shores is always overcrowded for events and on the weekends in the summer. You are just living off the one and don't s****** I never leave reviews but I thought it very important that I leave this review to let the general public know how disgusting and filthy the Shilo inn in Ocean Shores Washington is. From lobby, lobby bathroom. To super cold pool and warm "hot tub" where jets didn't work STAY AWAY FROM SHILO INNS unless you want bed bugs and to sleep with one or both eyes open.

Stayed at the Shilo again this past weekend and nothing had changed in the past 20 years. It is exactly the same. Run down but still functional, since we spend most of our time in town or on the beach. The restaurant seems to be permanently closed, which kind of sucks but there are plenty of good food options in town. The staff were very helpful. We had two different requests this trip (one for extra towels and one for an extra blanket) and they brought them to our room in less than 15 minutes from making the request.

Rooms need fixed up badly, whole hotel/inn needs to be remodeled or renovated. We were told the lounge was open but the restaurant was closed. We get here and the lounge is closed as well. Would stay here again. But would recommend for people on a budget or ones who won't be in there hotel room at all. FYI bring your own pillow these ones are horrible ?

My husband and wanted to go celebrate my birthday. We stayed in this place in the 90's for my birthday and the place have not been updated since that time. The same tv no joke! I been itching a lot since we left; god forbid if I got bed buds. The bed look like my 5 year old grand daughter made it up. The outside was equally gross, bird p*** everywhere. Restaurant not open. Don't go into the pool! The staff was wonderful and the fish place right up the street was worth the wait. The freshest food I have eaten since CoVid.
