First of all didn't want to come here at all after reading Yelp, but sister in law wanted to and was reluctant to want to go out and chose this place, that was deathly empty at dinner time on a Sunday. Service was the only component I can't rip, and wasted 120 on a meal for the only reason I didn't want to go volcanic and make a scene in front of the kids. I'm not kidding when I say the ramen tasted like URINE. Took one bite and said forget it. Tempura cod appetizer was appetite destroying, chicken farage was horrible. There were more employees working than customers. How does this place manage to stay open? Close already, you're going to sicken people. Hostess was missing teeth, cooks looked developmentally disabled. Avoid unless you like hospital food, cause that's what you're gonna end up eating if you eat here! DO NOT EAT HETE!

The new menu is fantastic! The broth is delicious and smooth, the chef very attentive to customers, and the build your own ramen was fun to order. Love this place!

One of my very favorite places in Olympia. Pick what you want to go into your delicious ramen. Would be better if they took reservations for large parties though.

I have never been treated so rudely. Do yourself a favor and just avoid. Unfortunate.

Soup was excessively salty! Very uninspired. It was supposed to have broccolini but all but one was just a stalk. Tasted like something from a package.

Eating ramen at Inaka downtown. WORST ramen ever. Don't go there if you have high blood pressure. Everything is super salty and they ask you to mix a broth and a sauce?!!! So tonkatsu is pork. Shoyu is shoyu. Why mix them. Noodles undercooked. My pork katsu was a huge chunk of over fried Mystery meat. Doesn't even make sense. Wished it was still Kizuki. Probably why I'm the only Japanese person in the restaurant. Do t waste your money. Drive up to Tacoma or jazz up some instant ramen. My Japanese mother was actually offended by their food.

The worst ramen I've ever had. Worse than what I can make at home from crappy instant granules and soy sauce. The broth, the key to good ramen, was watery and flavorless. The noodles were too thick and mushy. Very disappointing.

This place has a lot of wins and a lot of misses. The chicken karaage was DELICIOUS! not too greasy, a unique spin on others we have had, was delivered promptly while we were still deciding on entrees. I might suggest a Japanese spicy Mayo if I had to add to it. The menu setup is pretty cool! It encourages you to build your own bowl of ramen with toppings, broths and flavoring to suit your preferences. Overall the selection was ok, not mind blowing but enough to satisfy. I'm mostly knocking the fourth star off because it wasn't a very generous portion. It's a VERY small amount of meat that you are given, and the toppings and not very filling. Four bamboo shoots isn't really going to make a meal. The ramen comes in these enormous bowls which makes the servings looks even more pathetic. Luckily , I ordered the most robust topping options (pork, tofu, broccoli)- but my spouse made the poor choice of corn with was one half of one fourth of an ear of corn. To add insult to injury, it all came out luke warm. The flavor of the broth was good though, and the noodles were perfectly al dente. They could easily up their game to hit stronger reviews.

Where do we begin.....the shrimp croquettes were not cooked. Frozen and RAW in the inside. Shrimp was not cooked at all. Next the "ramen"...broth was okay but literally the worst instant ramen is better than this. (Yikes) The soft boiled egg.....it's like jelly yolk? Wasn't a fan and the flavor wasn't palatable. Everything felt undercooked. Avoid this spot at all costs if you're looking for a real ramen spot. Drive up to Tacoma to Zen ramen for a better experience. Overall unsatisfied. Staff was great but truly the food wasn't good at all.

Their menu changed and their ramen isn't as good as it used to be. Also who on earth serves ramen with corn on the cob? It makes no sense. They changed from being about quality of taste to being concerned about being hip and trendy. They are also not kid friendly providing no options for kids other than to just order sides of individual items. I'm not an old bitty but I feel like one after going in here now because I hate all the new changes.

Service was friendly and on the quick side, however the food was not worth the money. Calamari appetizer was overcooked, burnt and so salty it was inedible. The ramen noodles were undercooked, the broth a little salty, the meat portion was small but cooked well. For the price the overall serving size was very small.

I was skeptical based on the reviews. I got my ramen via GrubHub. When it arrived it was still a good temperature. The pork belly was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The broth had good flavor. Normally when I get ramen the portions are very large however this was not. It was small in comparison to what I was expecting but it was still filling. My only real complaint is that the noodles did not seem to be cooked completely. They were not unbearably undercooked but definitely could have been cooked longer. Overall it was good. I will give it another chance and update my review from there.
