Ordered the chicken and brie panni it was ok. The bread was tough. The chicken was a plain slice of processed chicken. The fries were amazing. Service was friendly. Sandwich was $22 after tax. It used to taste a lot better.

Me

My best friend from childhood and I recently reconnected and wanted a relaxed place to share memories and laughter and Chestnut Cottage is always the perfect environment to kick back, share a bloody mary or Italian soda while eating top shelf quality food and bakery items.
Always a pleasure!

Pleasant atmosphere, comfortable. Food was delicious. Latte was perfect. We got the pulled pork benny on croissant with fruit instead of has browns. A beautiful cup of fresh fruit. Croissant was light and crispy. Wonderful start to the day.

After 3.5 hours of driving, we needed breakfast before our COHO boat ride. After looking up online, I found this place with great reviews. I chose this place because my partner does not eat omelettes or eggs benny. This place had more selection. Other places were more like coffee cafes or burgers that were not close to the COHO.

Food - I had a breakfast pulled pork potato skillet. It had an egg and shredded hash browns with a side of hollandaise sauce. Perfect amount of grease - perfect for a hangover. I chose a biscuit instead of bread - was huge! Came with homemade jam and ample butter. My partner ate half of it. Delicious. My partner ordered the tacos with side of hashbrowns. He ordered a side of country sausage. He loved it!!

Service - Prompt. The food came out fast!

Atmosphere - friendly, older folks and families. Good small town American vibe. Reminded me of being a kid in 1994. Bathroom was clean but a little outdated. Very nostalgic with the wood trims, pink roses wallpaper and teal green wall paint. I actually found the décor nostalgic compared to post modern designs. They sold merch in the entrance. Jelly cats, stickers, books, restaurants brand hoodies, hats, trinkets. A little confused upon entering- maybe to appeal to young kids or families.

Highly recommend if you are visiting port angeles. 10 min from the COHO driving.

I will travel to visit my friend here in Washington every year to explore national parks & this year it was Olympic. We are ALWAYS looking for the best breakfast/brunch places and this one was perfection!

Such an amazing restaurant and atmosphere. The staff and owner were beyond perfection. All of the food was spectacular. If you are in the Port Angeles area this is a MUST dine location. You will not be disappointed in the least.

Ah, nothing says “authentic Irish-American breakfast” quite like being escorted to the farthest corner, seated among the other tables of diners with more melanin, and handed the bill before you’ve even finished your first bite. The décor was fine, but the nostalgic segregation-era service really made it an unforgettable dining experience.
