Had to wait for an hour and half for our takeout order. When we did finally get our food for some reason the food was cold, even though it was just done, on top of that the order was done incorrectly. There was also no greeting. I guess we should just serve ourselves next time.

Wow. Had to wait for an hour and half for our takeout order. Not the 45 minutes it was supposed to take. When we did finally get our food, we headed out the door with them looking at us silently. Usually it’s polite to tell your guests to have a good evening or any words at all would have been appreciated. For some reason the food was cold, even though it was just done. Just terrible customer service.

Don't normally like leaving bad reviews but this was not a good experience. Got there at 6:45 on a Tuesday and the staff was trying to close up shop even though they are open till 8pm. The service was extremely slow for not being busy. Ordered the hummus appetizer and the veggies were not fresh. also Ordered the clam chowder which was very fishy smelling and off putting. The whole time I was there the staff was ignoring people and doing there best to close up early. The owner seriously needs to look at getting better help. Will not come back.

The food is decent but definitely overpriced. They also charge an additional 10% service fee that they don’t tell you about. You can get get the same for cheaper at birch and barley.

We didn't reserve our spot for the dinner, but still, the staff was pretty generous in quickly offering us a seat. All the staff and servers are very nice. The food took a little bit of time to arrive, but it was good. I would consider their prices a little over the budget for us, and they can improve by expanding their menu to include more items in their entree section. Too less vegetarian options in the main menu that also needs some good additions. Prices for the entree items are a bit more for a regular college town crowd, but they are serving some very good cocktails and beers on tap.

Cool atmosphere and our server was nice, but the food was absolutely disgusting. I think I’ve had better penne pasta with breaded chicken at a school cafeteria. My husband’s salmon meal was also less than sub par. I rarely ever bad reviews, but the food was terrible. We will not be back.

First off, the staff are amazing and the food is great...but I have a feeling the owners are neither. A SINGLE Titos martini costs $23. In rural Washington. There is a 10% service charge on top of the overpriced menu to help cover wages (great for the owners, less tips for the staff). They used to be on Upside so I could at least get $5 back but it looks like they no longer are. Turns out that was a big motivator to choose Foundry because I really don't feel like returning now. Birch & Barley is literally half the cost at this point- I would recommend going there instead.

I think I can spend $130 for two on a much higher-end dining experience without being asked to tip 35%. (10% auto grat, plus 15-25% from the card reader).I used to like this place but the prices/tip structure are misleading for what it is and not worth it.If you want to pay that much for real quality go to Black Cyprus. If you want to pay less but just as good (if not better), go anywhere else in town.Filter the reviews by price and you’ll see what I mean.

DO NOT BRING ANY COUPONS, GIFT CARDS, OR ANYTHING THAT IS PREPAID! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT AND BE FORCED TO PAY THE FULL TAB OR ELSE.Please note this isn't the typical service i get from this place so a 1 out of 5 star would be too harsh. Story time:I got a $5 dollar gift card from Octoberfest for the Foundry and went over to enjoy my favorite pasta meal. It was a pretty busy evening so the servers didn't really talk to me or provide me with the typical bare minimum service that is usually given. After the meal, when attempting to redeem the 5 dollar gift card, the manager came out and became unreasonable about I have to pay the full tab plus a service fee without the gift card.I didn't want the police called on me over a $5 gift card, so I paid in full plus the service fee when there was basically none and left. The food is always great here, the atmosphere is great, but something tells me I will not be back for a few years after being charged, mistreated and ignored over $5 dollars. When asked for a tip over the recipe, I handed them the gift card and left. I was already charged a service fee I did not get and had a unfortunate feeling of being threatened for it.

Place looked great online, first time in Pullman. Immediately seated, slow Tuesday night at the bar. Lights at bar almost blindingly bright. Sets the mood for hurry up and leave, not sit and relax, enjoy.Overall positive experience at the start. Ordered the rib eye, at 40 dollars seemed reasonable, taste was mediocre at best, presentation of the steak was underwhelming, veggies were very good. Would not recommend or order again. Not a fan of handing over a handheld pos device at the bar with no bill presented first. Immediately greeted with the tip percentages, yes this is 2023, America is the tip country, otherwise no one comes to work. What they don’t tell you is they already applied a 10% service charge to the bill. Their digital percentages started at 15/18/20. I travel for work and tip well. The cheapest option presented for a tip at 15 plus the 10 they auto added means you just added 25 percent to the bill. Not a fan, not a fan at all. Will not recommend or return.Steak, 1 beer, bread, all for 72 dollars. If you’re willing, take a chance!

Had dinner there when taking our Coug back to school in August. Waited 10 mins for a table although the restaurant was half empty. Drinks were served appropriately. We put in our meal order, asking for the hummus plate first. After about 15 minutes I was told that the kitchen was out of lamb lollipops. Ordered the tortellini instead. No sign of hummus plate. The food came, the hamburger looked and tasted good. The Alfredo had 3 slices of drued up chicken on a bed of greasy pasta, and tri-color tortellini looked like they were out of a bag from a grocery store with cheese added. When I asked about the hummus plate, there were excuses and I declined it. I asked for the desert menu and while we were looking at that someone else came with the bill.Obviously short-staffed or new staff. No communication between them. The bill was very steep for 3 and only 1 cocktail. We are probably going to visit Pullman for the next 7 years. Never stepping in that restaurant again for sure.

We are from Tri Cities, my friend and I like to get away from our busy work life which is ever evolving and busy. I like small towns vs visiting big cities which can be draining for me and over stimulating if that resonates with you please visit Pullman. Check this restaurant out the vibe relaxing and welcoming. The lighting is perfect.
