Gabe's Ice Cream

Our first and probably our last time here. The ice cream was fluffy but the flavors I had were just okay/nothing special. We heard good things about this place online but I was disappointed in more ways than I’m describing below.Atmosphere/Service:I feel bad for even writing this review but I didn’t feel welcomed by the person working there - like he wanted us to order and get TF out. The atmosphere felt awkward like we weren’t allowed to be there.Food:We ordered strawberry cheesecake, almond mocha fudge ice creams and a spumoni milkshake. The almond mocha fudge has a lot of nuts but if you like nuts more than ice cream ratio, you might like it. The spumoni flavor tastes like Neapolitan and was more liquid than thick like milkshakes typically are.

The cookies and cream is the best knees, the owner is really nice and makes some quality ice cream I love the wild seasonal flavors

Gabe's Ice Cream has a curated selection of ice cream options. It's unique selection and home town feel makes this a unique place to go when you want to try something new. The staff has always been nice and it's conviently located in the Albertson's complx. Be prepared to drop around $8 per cone.

The flavor was good but the texture was very icy. I’m not sure if that is how it is meant to be. The staff inside were really friendly and it’s very cute inside.

This is a great ice cream place! They have a decent variety of flavors. Such friendly staff too! I highly recommend!

Nice enough people but the ice cream just wasn't that good. Seemed sort of freezer burnt. The best thing about my ice cream was the cone. From reading other reviews my guess is that this place was really good a few years ago. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

My husband and son each had a cone and loved them! We will definitely be back. The staff was friendly and efficient (despite what the jerk ahead of us ranted.)

Young lady at front counter was lovely and helpful. Person making a batch of ice cream (presumably owner) told young lady not to put very much topping on ice cream “hurts my wallet” he said. Then he proceeded to stick his ungloved hand into the toppings and pop some into his mouth. We won’t be returning. I placed same (identical, truthful and accurate) review on Facebook, only to have it deleted and blocked. So, I turned to google reviews so people know. Truth hurts, apparently.

So good! We just moved to the area and it’s becoming a weekly must. Our husky likes it too ?

This place is off the hook delicious. We are starting a new family tradition of trying new ice cream shops. So far of the three, Gabe's is the place we will go back to often. Scratch made ice cream and flavored waffle cones. I highly recommend trying this place. 10 stars. ?

Went 7/27 it was a very hot day. Everything was great until I realized that I was given the wrong flavors. I went back in expecting the young lady to understand, she made me transfer the ice cream into a different cup and then asked me to throw it all away.I left a really nice tip so I was surprised by the rudeness. I won’t be back.

Edited: It's a cute, little ice cream shop with unique flavors. I'm old school, so a couple flavors I was looking for on my first visit weren't available (jamoca almond fudge and mint chocolate chip, I think), but I still enjoyed what I had and have been there several times since with my niece after her karate class next door. She loves it and the girls behind the counter are always super sweet!
