Never dined inside, always phoned order in, and service is always wonderful.I prefer Cantonese Chinese food over Mandarin, which is why I patron Golden Peacock. They have excellent menu options. Take home food has been hit and miss lately. Sometimes, the food is great and hot, and other times, certain fried foods are overcooked. It is unfortunate that they do not open until 4 pm. I do plan to continue ordering from them. The Broccoli Chicken dish is tasty, but you may have to ask for the Broccoli to be on the crunchy side if that is your preference.

This place has the most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had, currently waiting to see if I get food poisoning. Everything I tried was inedible, flavorless, or tasted spoiled. Fingers crossed I don't wind up in the hospital with salmonella. DO NOT EAT HERE! Also the prices were astronomically high. It was $160 to feed 3 people, and we wound up throwing it all in the trash.

Food ice cold. The only item hot was wonton soup and chow mein. Beef in chow yuk was also warm but veggies ice cold. Felt like eating at safeway deli select. Never go again. You have been warned. Waitress never came back to ask if dinner was good. Owner/manager brought bill, I spoke up 38.00 a pc for family meal. The other table seated near bye also said dinner was cold. They pre-made everything pork,.chicken. rice Panda express is better.

Ok food although some noodle soups are really bland. Service is less than expected. There's that "funny/not funny" server and some really slow ones.

Who is rating this 5 stars?!? This food was shockingly bad. I feel bad writing this but it was just terrible and changes need to be made! I ordered several dishes to feed a crowd and I was embarrassed— every carton we opened was less appetizing than the last. Everything over sauced, overly sweet, greasy and gloopy. Vegetables cooked to absolute mush and low quality meat. The sesame chicken was totally soggy, (full of liquid?) and just seemed like fried breading with very little actual chicken and no idea what cuts of meat—but not good ones. The green beans were cooked grey and inedible —like they were boiled. They sent one rice for eight dishes? The noodles were overcooked, congealed and tasted unpleasant in flavor and texture. The egg roll was battered like a corn dog — overly greasy and unappetizing. The whole meal was an expensive disappointment. These dishes did not feel WOK prepared — they seemed premade and reheated and a TV dinner would have been better. Nothing felt bright and fresh. Never again!

Some of the choices are passable, but many of the dishes I could easily recreate in my kitchen, or were strange simulacrums of Chinese/Chinese American dishes. This place has strange dishes that are not that great.

They have a good rating from health department they need to work to excellent. But food was good and staff was kind and friendly sometimes over friendly. Hostess was very outspoken and over friendly but If that is what you like you will love this place. Been around a while. Family style service.

No idea how this place is still in business unless it's a front door some money landing scheme! Place is a dump and food is even worse. Hot and sour soup and chow mein were bizarre. Never seen anything like it. Don't make the same mistake we did...

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. It is very over priced and they use hoisin sauce in their Mongolian beef. Clearly they can’t even google how to cook a dish. Save your money and go somewhere else.

1. Food was cold upon receiving it even though I was told to show up in 20 minutes and showed up in 10. The food looked and smelled bland as if it were pre-made.2. Price was 40$ above the average Chinese food place3. The flavors are nothing extravagant for paying 69 dollars worth of food for on 2 entrées and 1 appetizer.4. The quantity was told to be 3-4 portions, but maybe for bigger kids. An average male would finish all of his food and still be hungry.Didn't dine in. The person answering the phone seemed nice but ultimately wouldn't trust the experience because I chose to do take-out, and that didn't work out. No smells or flavors of people cooking in the restaurant that were noticeable. There are no positive takeaways about the food.First review I have ever written, but I had to write a review about this.Mongolian beef - cold, smallChow mein- soggy, decent sizeBbq pork - cold, blandRice - super small
