So much to say about this gem nestled in the hills of rural Washington state! If you’re in the area and looking for a fine dining experience, look no further. I myself highly recommend the Sweet Chili Mushroom Dinner with Chicken. It is to DIE for! Aside from the food, the staff makes you feel right at home. As if you’ve been life long friends who don’t miss a beat when you go a while without seeing each other. Head on in, folks! You won’t regret it. *chefs kiss*

Excellent service and really cool staff! The drinks and cocktails are off the hook. Also serve food in the brewery next store if you want it. Always get a rib eye and it's cooked exactly how I want it, great quality meat and amazing flavor. Licorice drop and Bee Knees are must try cocktails

I enjoyed the Reuben—tangy! Ask them about their GLUTEN FREE options!

Grab a board game and take your time, or just enjoy the food and friendly service at the bar, a booth or a regular table: Lisa and her kid Mo are fabulous hostesses. Trust me, the food hits all the right spots after, or in the middle of, a day of adventuring on nearby lakes and trails. Four stars only because i didn’t love the too-soft waffles in the morning. otherwise everything was superb!

GF and I went here for breakfast before our bike ride home. I absolutely love this place. The decor, food, and our server. I started off with some piping hot coffee and a shot of Bailey's. Loved it! GF had the Biscuits & Gravy Sausage Gravy. Biscuits were fresh and the Gravy was the perfect match to it. I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict. That was cooked to perfection with asethetically pleasing sauce. Kudos to the morning chef.

Had a wonderful breakfast here! Chicken fried steak was one of the best I've ever had. Staff was really warm and accommodating, especially Liz, who took the time to make us feel more than welcome. Anytime we pass through, this will be a destination.

I’m local and wanted to take my wife out to dinner for our anniversary. 18 North puts on the front that they are an upscale restaurant. When I was finished with my salad I put my silverware on my salad plate. The owner came to retrieve our plates. She asked me if I know the difference between up-scale dinning and casual dinning, stumped I didn’t say anything. She told me to keep my used dirty silverware and waited for me to take them back. Now I know the difference, I paid almost $100.00 for two (upscale price) for casual (low scale) food. Only thing impressive was the overpriced appetizer. My pork chops were as thick as a piece of cardboard and tasted nearly the same. Never will return…

A group of friends and I are visiting for a few days when we decided to get Sunday Brunch. After looking at other Yelp reviews we decided to visit 18 North Kitchen and Bar. We were greeted with a warm friendly server and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit on the patio and happy we did - it was a beautiful day, good for people watching and the birds were singing their tune. After reviewing the menu we put in our order. We all got some variation of Eggs Benedict - add avocado or bacon. We each had a different drink. I had the bloody Mary and found it to be one of the best I've ever had!! Friends had a long island and a wine spritzer. They each enjoyed the libations!!The eggs were perfectly cooked and the homemade hollandaise sauce was KILLER!!! Another person waiting tables came by to check on us. When we replied how much we were enjoying our meal, he said "well then, you need to come back on Monday. Our chef makes all the desserts and they are simply the best. We offer a sinful chocolate cake and a cream brulee cheesecake that will knock your socks off." I was convinced in that moment that I needed this cheesecake so we ordered 2 to-go. It did, in fact, knock my socks off!!!!I was very impressed with this beautiful little restaurant, their service was remarkable and the atmosphere was so inviting. Whatever you do...come here and eat, drink, and be merry!! One last comment: a few days later we were visiting the brewery next door and ordered the Cowboy Nachos (smothered fries)...OMG, so good (recommend a side of their homemade ranch - you're welcome)!!!

Some dishes were excellent, others were clearly still in the process of being figured out, but the staff was great, and it's nice to have options in town other than burgers and burritos!
