Got the vegan flavor "coconut vanilla" yesterday at Ruston. It seemed like someone took canned cream of coconut, froze it, then served it on a cone. Very strong, raw flavor of coconut, no hint of vanilla and so rich that it made me queasy. The server was nice, though.

Good ice cream shop with limited selection. For some reasons, their ice cream is covered so you can not see how it looks until you buy it. I eat with my eyes first lol. They also don’t give samples ( probably they do from time to time) which is fine but don’t ask to get a tip.

They have different flavors each day and worth trying, the only downside is that the size of scoop, it depends on who is scooping your ice cream, sometimes small and sometimes bigger. But they should scoop according to the price. It's pricey but worth to try it. Love their Ruston,Tacoma location.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stop by the shop! We made an impromptu detour towards the bay and luck would find us here after craving some ice cream on a warm afternoon.I thouroughly enjoyed my Valhalla Coffee flavor, it had great texture and aroma, it was creamy and flavorful. My sister got the chocolate and as far as chocolate ice cream goes, it's pretty darn good! Probably my favorite chocolate ice cream in recent memory. (We're nitpicky chocolate eaters)The staff was super friendly and patient while I had to try several of their unique flavors. I'll be back for them one day. <3Modest serving sizes, and appropriate prices. We didn't try the waffle cones this time around, so maybe next visit I'll update!The inside feels spacious, and has a pretty ample seating area. Especially compared to your common ice cream store. Facilities were clean and everything has its place. Always nice to see easy access, handicap friendly restrooms for anyone who may need them.They also seem to have decent airflow so the atmosphere doesn't get too stagnant and hot with the freezers working all day. (But we did visit on a cooler and overcast day so who knows how it is on a hot summer day. Stay hydrated workers!)From what I've read in other reviews, it seems we got lucky with our timing and we were the only ones in the shop for a hot minute until we sat down. Then they were fairly busy!Also, super appreciate that there was a water station available, silly how thirsty you can get while eating ice cream.I'll be sure to visit again next time I'm in the area!
