Big Chickie

OMG YES! I went to Big Chickie for the first time a few weeks back and I keep thinking about the delicious meal! Essentially, guests can order 1/4, 1/2, or a whole chicken with some sides to share. I shared a 1/2 chicken meal with a friend. We got the 1/2 chicken with yucca fries, mashed potatoes, and beans and rice. Everything was amazing! The 2 person meal comes with two sauces. Whole family came here for lunch. They advertise as being Peruvian style pollo a la brasa. I think they represent well. The chicken is moist and charbroiled perfectly. Their salads are delicious and fairly authentic. I appreciate their aji amarillo- it has the right flavor without burning my face off. Their white sauce is pretty righteous too. The cornbread is delicious. The empanadas are also very good, their chicken and corn/cheese were winners. I will be back.

Love how they did the seating. They have outdoor seating and outdoor seating with a roof. It has a festive atmosphere with a simple wooden table and folding chairs. As for the food, I had the manager's special which has the quarter chicken and two sauces. It comes with coleslaw and yellow rice n beans.
