Cakes Of Paradise has delivered the community with such delicious cakes and treats for years. I love their fruity cakes, rainbow, guava, passionfruit are my favorites!! Rainbow is probably the most favorite, since it has a taste of them all and more. They're spongy, moist and so flavorful. I know some people love their dobash cake, which isn't my favorite but I also don't rave over chocolate cakes. If so it's gotta be rich for my liking. BUT the cakes I do like are rich in fruity-ness and check all my boxes. Whether it's for a birthday, baby shower, wedding, or even a Tuesday night their cakes and treats are so delicious. A little pricey but well worth the creativity and craftsmanship! I'll have to try more than their cakes and donuts one day. They also have pies and more goodies. I like that the place is bright, smells great and has a little seating area as well. It's welcomes you to eat your goodies while there, but away from the line to check out. More recently I've picked up slices to go, and service was professional and quick! If you haven't tried, it's worth the visit!

Called one day ahead and they were able to accommodate my order during a certain pickup window. The recipient and guest all enjoyed the Chantilly cake. I have had guava cake in the past and I would recommend that flavor as well.

I used to love the cakes from Cakes of Paradise but my recent experience was terrible. The cream they use is not real whipped cream. It's just white stuff that tastes very artificial like eating soft plastic. I also tried a lilikoi bar and it was one of the worst desserts I've ever had. It tasted nothing like lilikoi and had a gummy texture, not custardy like a lemon bar. It was just a yellow bar bland dough. It's too bad the quality has taken such a downturn because they used to be my go-to place for tropical dessert flavors.

This is my GO TO spot when I need a birthday or special occasion cake or when I just want to blow someone away with an amazing treat! Their cake is so moist, not too sweet & the jelly filling they put on the top and middle are mouthwatering. The shop is super cute with an Aloha Vibe. The cashiers could be a little more friendly but they are efficient & knowledgable...and let's face it, the cakes, pies & treats literally sell themselves IYKYK. I even got my wedding cake from them because I wanted taste over pretty cake that tastes mediocre at best. Their cakes are pretty enough & they will accommodate any decor you wish within their means, but if you are looking for delicious, moist, cake with exotic as well as an excellent chocolate cake...this is the spot. They also have a baked case with Long John's, bars & other pastries. I can't say enough about this long standing, locally family owned business!

My boyfriend had a surprise birthday party for me and last minute ordered a cake from Cakes of Paradise Bakery! This was one of the best cakes I've ever had, if not the best! Real fruit, beautiful decor with real flowers, and whip cream frosting that melted right in your mouth. The cake was beautiful and delicious, we will definitely be ordering from here again.

Same comments apply to their whipped cream.All in all, a piece of their cake is like a piece of porous angel food cake topped with thawed Cool Whip that is rescued from sitting overnight in the Seattle rain :)(2014)

Amazing cakes for all occasions! We ordered a baby shower cake here for our family and couldn't be happier with the cake and the service. We ordered with only a few days notice and they were accommodating to get the cake to us on time and even personalized. The cake itself was beautiful and tasted even better than it looked. We ordered the Chantilly cake with macadamia nuts on it. Everyone at the event was raving about how tasty the cake was. Check it out it won't disappoint.
We love every dessert we've tried here. All their cakes are so light, fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. I also love their cream filled longjohns covered in powder sugar. Best dessert spot for something unique and tasty. Easy parking, great service.

I won’t ever stop saying wonderful things about this place. I’ve had about 4-5 cakes made there now for a bunch of different events including my grandma’s birthday, my friend’s baby shower and even one as a “thank you” cake for my dog’s oncologist after she passed.Recently, I ordered yet another one for grandma’s 87th. Unfortunately, something happened with the order and I showed up and no cake had been made:( I knew this was unlike them so I wasn’t completely upset but I was panicking, as we had a lot of guests coming and even some family from Canada in town, all expecting a nice birthday cake for our old lady.As I left, one of the wonderful staff, who I’ve interacted with a handful of times IMMEDIATELY texted me apologizing and within a few hours, we received our cake! All the way on the other side of town, right to our doorstep. The amazing and super sweet Pua went above and beyond for us that day and our family was so grateful ?????Affordable. Efficient.
