On a busy corner in Georgetown, down from the historic brewery row.... It's an interesting spot, feels like we might be in some part of Yokohama? Interesting art of trains. The lady who takes our orders was so very helpful. The Food? One of the Best Chicken Katsu Curry this side of Japan. Yummy!!!! Awesome presentation and the tonkatsu sauce was fruity and tart. My Son said it's second best to his Moms.

I thought this place was ok. I got the sukiyaki bowl + $2 add-on of unagi. Doing that add-on was not worth it for the 2 very small pieces of fish that had bone. Food was ok, not super flavorful in my opinion. My boyfriend got the volcano don and he didn't love it either. He said it tasted like a deconstructed sushi roll and it wasn't spicy either. Both of us felt like we should've gotten something else. Serving size was adequate though. About $37 for both bowls, including tax The place itself was clean with a couple of seats by the window in a bar format, and a few tables. Nice decor. Service was alright. The lady who took orders would sometimes disappear to do other work and you'd have to stand there and wait until she came back. Not sure if I'd come back considering the prices and lackluster flavors. However, the place quickly filled with dine-in customers shortly after opening at 4:30 and there were multiple take-out orders waiting for pickup on their counter, so this seems like a popular place...just maybe not for me.

I heard about the place a while ago, and so glad I finally tried it because I've been missing out! The food was delicious! It is a little pricey for an every day lunch spot, but definitely reasonably priced for what you get. The chirashi bowl was delicious and came with a lot of extremely fresh fish. The una-gyudon was sooo good - I love the fatty, thinly sliced meat. Unagi was delicious! The karaage wasn't too oily and I loved the sauce it came with. Usually karaage comes with like a spicy mayo, but this was like a refreshing gingery sort of fresh salad dressing like sauce which I loved! The inside is cute, though not much seating. So might not be good for large parties. Conveniently shares the parking lot with the pizza place right across. Overall, would come again! I think this place is the most reasonably priced chriashi bowl near me!

This was a great takeout dinner had tonight. Food is freshly made, fish was very fresh. Reasonably priced and ready by the time we got there. Glad they are generous with their rice portions because we love rice! Can't tell you how sad it is when a sushi or rice bowl place makes bad rice, but this place had perfect rice! We ordered to tonkatsu, chicken katsu, sake bowl, chirashi and sukiyaki bowl. All were really really good. I will make it a point to eat here everytime I am in the area!
I have become a regular since I work nearby, and everything is excellent. On the pricier side but it is reflected in the quality of everything. The chirashi is a splurge and delicious but they also have an excellent terriyaki and excellent katsu. But you can’t go wrong with anything you order here.

I was mistreated by the server and felt discriminated against because of my ethnicity. The restaurant was not busy and I was next in line and began my order, a white man came in and the server cut me off and began to provide service to the white man. I felt disrespected and when the server refused to correct her behavior I left because I was too upset. I will not return to this restaurant and do not recommend it to people of color so that they do not experience the same mistreatment as I.

I love this little joint. Reminds me of the small restaurants in Japan. They have a few different Donburi bowls and Chirashi, poke, chicken karaage.... I'm in heaven.

This place has great reviews on food delivery apps, but I went in-person and I was not impressed with the quality. It's far too expensive to be as bland as it is. I got the gyudon with unagi and a side of gyoza, and no element of the meal was flavorful. Even the dipping sauce for the gyoza tasted a little off. The service was good though; helpful and fast. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go there again.Parking: There was plenty of parking at the time I went, but getting into the lot is a little tight.

The food was very good. A nice little hidden spot in Georgetown. I had the Salmon Poke with rice.We came in as a group of 7 at noon on a Monday. It wasn't too busy and we were able to be seated easily.Rated service a 4 because the woman who took our order just stared me down. I had a hard time hearing her and needed her to repeat herself.Parking: There was plenty of parking when I went there.
