Delicious food! Crepes and waffles are the best I've had. Found my new breakfast spot. The restaurant is a little small if you're inside and there's a lot of echoing, if you're sensitive to sounds. But outside seating is available. The decor is cute and the service was very good!

Love this gem of a place! It feels homey, quite literally the space is a house. Makes for a cozy, warm and delicious breakfast. I always get the triple b (bacon, brie and basil) waffle with my bottomless coffee. And it always hits the spot.Food: 4/5

I knew of this spot, but had never been until a colleague and I grabbed lunch here. What a really lovely little cafe! The kitchen is working crepes and other bites simultaneously, so the service will take a bit--but patience is rewarded; my waffle was really, really good. This feels like the kind of place where you should not be in a rush anyway; take the time to relax, enjoy the decor, and talk with your tablemates.

Good honest food and drip coffee. A smile On everyone's face and super quick service. The menu is unique without being obscure. Their rear patio is a great place to meet friends for a midweek late breakfast.

Fantastic food and even better service. Loved everything about our visit. Planes weren't too loud or frequent and were super cool!

Excellent restaurant right next to Boeing Field! I was staying just down the street and the Hangar Cafe came at the recommendation of my Air BnB host. The weather was beautiful and sat outside both mornings I visited, once out front and the second out back. It's a great place to watch airplanes takeoff and land at BFI. The restaurant can seat a decent number of people in places ranging from inside and outside tables to outside benches if you're just enjoying a coffee with friends. I had the seasonal crepe which was extremely good and prompted me to come back the next morning. The second time I had the Hangar Crepe which was everything I wanted in a savory crepe. The poblano, basil vinaigrette that comes with the crepe was incredible. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle.

Great spot ! If you have the pleasure of having Drusella as your server, she's from the Burg ( Pittsburg ) and is a max miller fan, enough said! The food is amazing

Visited this place for the first time with my boyfriend and we LOVED the food. There was 1 cook and the owner (waitressing) and we were told ahead of time that food was going to take a little while which was perfectly fine considering the reviews. Overall Toni was amazing holding down a busy morning and our awesome cook made our tunmy's happy. We sat outside in the back which was filled with beautiful plants. Definitely will be back here when we visit Seattle again! P.S don't let the bad reviews change your mind about coming here.

I am always impressed by the service and the food at the hanger café. I love what they have done with the place. The outdoor seating area is gorgeous. Food is always delicious and served fresh. Great quality love it.

One of the best breakfasts in Georgetown and probably Seattle. On par with Portage Bay, sans pancake topping bar. But what you lose in whipped cream and berries, you gain in awesome airplane fly-overs and delicious rotating seasonal menu. Get there early, because it's small and it fills up fast. Service can be a bit slow because of the size of the kitchen, but it's worth it.
I hadn't been to the hanger cafe in a while - a couple of years. I was sad to see it had changed and a lot of the little bits that gave it character are gone. The wooden tables and benches inside are gone and replaced with a more uniform look. The small paper menus are replaced with laminated plastic sheets. I don't know why these changes were made, but it really takes away from the charm of the place. Oh yah and the secret aardvark hot sauce is gone. The replacement was okay, but I really liked secret aardvark. The food is always good, and the service was fine; there was a very long wait, but it didn't seem avoidable.

I don't often leave negative reviews because honestly, people aren't perfect. Even the best places make mistake or mess up sometimes. It happens. In other words, you have to really piss me off to make me leave a negative review. So here we go. Don't get me wrong, the food is great. But I really haven't had service this bad in a very very long time. In short, we waited for an hour, and our food hasn't showed up. And thru out this time, we were never once asked if we want our coffee refilled. We have to ask for refills while the server ask other tables whether they want their coffee refilled. Are you discriminating us because we're the only minority in the seating area? They finally realized something was wrong. Instead of admitting our order was not in the system, our server lied and said there were two big parties before us. We know it's a lie because the group that got seated right before us got their order, ate it, and finish paying before we got anything. So they did this token gesture of giving us a coffee cake. Then, the group that sat down after us got their food. So the lie is up. The waitress then admitted the system never took our order. It's like, people mess up, it's fine...but don't lie and compound the insult. Worst service ever. And I still wonder if this is racial discrimination since to the very end, she never asked us if we want a refill for our coffee.

So glad we found this spot in Georgetown! It's kind of hidden by empty buildings but it has a cool sign and a courtyard in the front. The staff was super nice and though it was busy, (we went on a Sunday around 11am), we got a table within the first couple of minutes We had biscuits and gravy, a peanut butter and chocolate crepe, an Americano, mimosa and a mocha. All together it was under $40 and really good! Loved the cozy seating and cabin-like decor. We will definitely go again!

I loved everything about my brunch at The Hangar Cafe. The menu is diverse but small enough to make me think they're good at making the things they offer, the waiting area is adorable, staff is so pleasant and obviously happy to be at work which speaks volumes about the establishment. Even with new ownership, my Southend friend told me she's still very pleased with service and food. I had a side of bacon (I asked for it to be crispy and it was PERFECT), lemon panna cotta waffle, turkey pesto crepe. My brunch date had the Monte Cristo crepe, and enjoyed that as well. The wait to be seated was normal for Sunday brunch, but there's also a wait to get your food order taken. This is understandable given the economy, but definitely plan ahead. I'm so glad I didn't have my kids to entertain and I wasn't starving. My brunch company was lovely and I had a great time before food or drinks. Plan accordingly!

Walked in and there was nobody waiting before us. There were two tables open that we could see and not sure how many tables were open in the back. The hostess told us that the wait would be 30 minutes and we felt like that was unnecessary considering the tables open so we went elsewhere. Too bad, the eggnog waffle special looked yummy
