Ilona my server asks me how our food was. I tell her the pizza was disgusting but the salmon was amazing. She proceeds to ask me if “I want her manager to come out and ‘see how everything was’”? I said, “ Why I just told you the pizza was disgusting and the salmon was amazing.” She says “Oh Okay!!” And prances off… Listen if you’re going to ask a question like that what is the purpose if you don’t care??? How clueless do you have to be to prance off all skippty when someone expresses dissatisfaction in the GREASY DISGUSTING PIZZA we had to get a box for because a small child refused to eat it.. I wish Christian was still the manager we are tenured veterans and your service was absolute trash ?

Delicious food! Got the Turkey Club w Avocado and my partner got the French Dip. So delicious, bread on the FD was crispy on the outside and so soft inside. Very surprisingly tasty lunch.

I always enjoy my visits to the Grille My only complaint would be that the kitchen is often inconsistent and they consistently overcook the salmon. It's dry when it should be moist.

I ordered Santa Fe Chicken Panini which is one favorite menu at the Cafe or Marketplace Cafe at Nordstrom. But when I received my pick up order from downtown Nordstrom today, the Shrimp Pomodoro and the Santa Fe sandwich, there was no avocado at all, hardly any caramelized onions. I have been an ICON member forever and this was the worst food order I have received from any Nordstrom restaurant. So disappointed.

Everything I ordered was over salted, sent it back and ordered a burger, asked for medium rare, burger was overcooked. At that point my party had were almost done with their meal and I consumed my meal to my disliking. The wait staff made no attempt to apologize and would have been nice to be compensated for a portion of the meal. I will not be dining there for a while.

Our server has too many tables to cover and we had to wait an excessive amount of time to be served. My cocktail took over 20 minutes to get to the table after ordering and our appetizer had already been delivered by the time it arrived. "The bar was backed up" at 11:45 am on the busiest shopping day before Christmas. OK, I can accept that. However, we were told our first choice of appetizers was sold out and we'd have to pick another. Then we chose the calamari and were told by the server "you don't want to pick that; it will take forever to get out of the kitchen". So my partner asked what appetizers were available on the menu. He said all were except the two we wanted. So, we ended up picking our third choice of appetizers. 20 minutes later the waiter brought over our FIRST choice of appetizers (said he found an order in the kitchen). We were happy about that and asked him to cancel our third appetizer choice and asked when we could expect the cocktail. The cocktail and burrata salad arrives 5 minutes later. The cocktail was tasty and the salad presentation was pretty; unfortunately, the mozzarella was old and chewy. That was not nice. So we picked out the tomatoes and ate those.The French Onion soup saved the meal; it was really delicious. While we were having our soup the waiter came over again and asked if we still wanted our third choice of appetizers, which had been cancelled earlier. We said no thank you. The poor server was clearly overwhelmed and not holding it together well. It was a disappointing experience overall and we had to wait another 10 minutes after asking for the check before we got it. Still, I left the server a decent tip even though the service was poor - he was trying. Clearly, management needs to evaluate the staffing levels at the restaurant.

Always a fantastic experience. Food and service quality are always at the top. They always start with warm bread and tapenade. This meal, we followed that with the kung pao roasted brussels sprouts and calamari. My go-to entree is the ginger sesame grilled chicken salad. For dessert, the warm brownie sundae. They have a full bar... The price is always right (not too expensive or too cheap). The wait staff consistently work as a team. I definitely look forward to the next visit.

I eat at the Grill quite often. On my last visit I was surprised at how slow the kitchen was. It took 30 minutes to get the meal! Not that I was in a hurry but the wait was not typical. Bartender/waiter was okay.

I absolutely love the Nordstrom Café. I’ve been a fan for years their line cilantro chicken is usually amazing. I don’t know what they’ve done, but there was no flavor and the chicken was pink and when I said some thing the chef I said it’s the marinade on the chicken I don’t believe this to be true because there was zero flavor on the chicken. Super disappointed.

I absolutely love the Nordstrom Café. I’ve been a fan for years their line cilantro chicken is usually amazing.
