This is the best teriyaki in the area. The sauce is homemade and so so tasty compared to kikkoman bottled sauce you get elsewhere. The chicken is grilled perfectly; a few charred bits and tender and juicy. The salad is standard teriyaki fare and very tasty.
The wait can be a bit long; but it has been worth it each and every time. There’s lovely tea to sip while you wait.
Sara, the owner and sole employee, is truly a treat. Personable, silly, sweet, and wildly hard-working. We miss her, and hope she is doing well and is reopening soon.
WE MISS YOU!!! ?

The woman who owns this place does it all by herself and absolutely kills it while remaining incredibly friendly and caring. Every time I come here the food is exceptional and it’s the only teriyaki place I go to now. It’s ruined most other places for me.
The chicken yakisoba is the best I have ever had. If anyone says the food isn’t fresh or flavorful then they either have lost their sense of taste or are straight up delusional. She truly puts her love and soul into this food and it really shows. I never write reviews but this place deserves all the praise it can get and more, truly.

Definitely at the top of the list for tasty teriyaki! It's going to be slower than normal during busy hours as the owner is working solo, last I visited. She has been there longer than I can remember and is one of the kindest people I've met. I really love the beef/chicken combo.

Pickup Order wasn't ready when expected and woman couldn’t be bothered to cook it, kept saying to come back. We had to cancel because we couldn’t wait all night.

This is the realest west coast teriyaki. Be nice to the lady! She is so friendly and cares a lot about feeding her customers. It may take a little longer to cook but it is well worth the wait.
There’s a reason this spot has been around for 15+ years (even as the surroundings have gotten more dangerous after dark). I sat at the counter and enjoyed some hot tea with the aroma of sugar caramelizing on my grilled meats. I am looking forward to bringing these piping hot plates of savory sweet chicken to my family to enjoy this homemade meal.
