My husband ordered the country breakfast with coffee. We were not told they were out of the pastries, after food was served by someone other then server we final saw server and asked for coffee. There was a 2 year old running around the tables an isles yelling, pancakes flavorless and super dense, sausage really dry, got our first refills when we were ready to leave. Bacon was fabulous and outdoor seating view was incredible.
If you want amazing it's this is the place to go. Food was really awesome and big portions.
The setting at Salish Lodge is co outstanding. The newly renovated restaurant is a big change some good some not so good. New bar area looks great. The dining area where we sat has no charm but the view is wonderful. We were there on a very busy Sunday.
It's pricy but the location and the view makes it totally worth it. Our server was excellent! She did the honey drizzle over our muffins which we took video of. We really had a great time.
The food was bland, all three of our entree's and overpriced. . Their classic biscuits and honey were yummy as well as the falls.
We went here for our anniversary and had a delicious brunch. My wife said the best Eggs Benedict she's ever had. The coffee press was delicious and the whole meal was excellent. The server was exceptional. “Honey from heaven” was a real treat.
The views are incredible of the falls right there. There is a full bar but the drink menu provided was just for brunch cocktails. The food came out impeccably fast, just didn't have that wow factor.
They made us wait for the table 20m, and then the waitress ignored us for 15 minutes serving tables that arrived after us, and we called her, and ignored us. We left, told to the manager, he apologized but that's it. Our expectations were high, so we drove 45 minutes to just there and we ended up leaving the restaurant unattended and starving.
Delicious food, great service and romantic ambience. I had the filet mignon Oscar style, grits with cheese curds, and the damn fine cherry pie a la mode. Everything was cooked beautifully and the portions were perfect!
The scrumptious food, delightful service, breathtaking views, fresh clean air, and a feeling of escape to a mountain estate - all of this and more is waiting for you at The Restaurant & Terrace Bar at Salish Lodge. We had a glorious time together!

Reservation was made and 15 late to be seated. Once at the table, I watched one table seated after us get their water & drink order before us. 15 minutes for water to be served. I think it was just situational with our waitress because the table next to us had their server see them several times. Ours took forever to get boxes, check, you name it. Was not impressed at all.
Wonderful Experience and Great Value Amazing place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We arrived earlier than our reservation time, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and seated us right away. From the start, the service stood out. They offered complimentary bread and champagne while we waited for our food, which was such a nice touch. We ordered two main dishes: steak and shrimp. Both were generously portioned, more than enough to share between three people. To top it all off, they surprised us with a birthday cake to share, as we were celebrating both mine and my friend's birthdays. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service, delicious food, and a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!
From our initial contact with the Salish staff to our departure from the lodge, we were impressed with the service we received. Their attention to detail, accommodations, and professionalism were unmatched.
Everything was delicious. Service was a tiny bit slow but our server was great. Wasn't allowed to sit outside but the atmosphere was great inside—just no views.
I expected Seattle style innovative cuisine with impeccable attention to detail. The food was mediocre at best. I was disappointed and felt I let down my out of town foodie guests.
