I was excited to try Iron Goat beers based on their Google reviews, but I tried a couple of their IPAs with the highest IBUs and immediately left. Both beers were watery and sweet, with almost no hoppiness and no depth of flavor. I didn't even bother to stay for food.

best hummus plate ever

Salsa verde bowl is a MUST. An absolutely satiating blend of flavors with their generous servings of beautifully marinated chunks of chicken (or protein of your choice), warm scooped rice, bountiful bursts of lime flavor with every bite, a house made tangy salsa verde which is a top an avocado, arugula & pumpkin season mixture to bring it all together for that satisfying meal that you need to finish out a days work. This item is a perfect fresh but hearty option for a wonderful Spokane staple brewpub.

Amazing food and beer! A must-try is the hummus plate! It’s the best I have ever had. The beer salad is downright yummy and the pizzas are oh-so good. I hail from Maryland but visit this place each time I visit my son in Spokane. Iron Goat will not disappoint!

The Iron Goat is the "go to" place for everyone in my office for lunch or after hours meet ups. The selection of beers is always top notch and the menu is great. I alternate between the Cuban Sandwich, the Turkey Sandwich (the best I've ever had), and the Green Goat Bowl. I've never been disappointed. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, good food and drink - what more could you want?

The Goat was great except they didn't have a t-shirt in stock I wanted. Please know what the Iron Goat is prior. They did have a few other rock and roll themed t-shirts which was cool.......when you see The Ramones or Black Flag you know the owners are rockers.Great beer too.....

Three of us decided to check out this brewery. Two of us are from Alberta so always keen to try breweries when we are travelling. We were not disappointed! The venue itself is pretty cool with a lovely patio. The ladies room was clean. One orders at the counter and then they bring you your food. To begin with, the beer. My husband chose the Minnehaha NW Hazy IPA which he enjoyed. Our friend had the Brewski Blonde and I had a Dunkel and a Watermelon Cucumber Gose ($8). All of the other beers are $7 for a pint. All were very tasty. We had two pizzas - the 2nd Ave Combo ($19) and the pizza special (which I can't recall what it was but it was delicious!) for $18. My husband had the Famous IGB Turkey Sandwich for $18 and he chose a side of potato salad. All of the food was really outstanding and we took a lot of pizza back to our campsite! We will definitely be back the next time we're in Spokane!

Flew in from out of town and this was the top recommendation from locals for a true taste of the Spokane beer scene. Great beer, food was locally sourced, and bartenders/ brewers were informative and friendly. Highly recommend the stop!

I got the 2nd Ave Combo Pizza, substitute sausage for more pepperoni. This is from my first time eating here back in September, I got it to go. It was still delicious and fresh even as a to go order. Staff was very friendly as well.

The brewery possesses a wonderful atmosphere with a large chalk board above the bar that outlines and categorizes their beers in an easy to read display. Ample seating indoors as well as an outdoor patio with 12+ tables that also have a large umbrella in the center of each table allows patrons ample seating opportunities. The staff was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a fun brewery environment in the downtown Spokane area, this is the place to go!

Cool place and friendly staff. Parking can be limited so be ready to feed the meters. The neighborhood isn't the best. The turkey sandwich was really good and piled high. The Cuban wasn't what I would call traditional but was quite good. I hope to visit again while in Spokane.

Iron Goat is the best brewery in Spokane! They have fantastic beer and food. Good atmosphere and awesome service! We were mug club members here for years before we moved. Their beer is still some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to just about every brewery in Spokane, and Portland, Oregon.
