Never have I ever had a barista tell me the temp so that I’d know what it was for next time. Five star move.

I admit. I chose this coffee shop because of the aesthetic (guilty). I just moved back to the area and have driven by but haven’t stopped in until now. Old dormitory building is owned by one person and they did a fantastic job with renovations. Atmosphere is inviting, serene, vibrant and quaint all in one. They had swing doors - jazz and other music playing over the speakers. Barista said the shop reminded her of Europe and I will have to agree with her. Food and drinks are good. My pistachio matcha and breakfast sandwich had plenty of flavor. I enjoyed my selections. They were better than most coffee shops I have been to. Would come again and order food and drinks. Highly recommend you stop in at least once. If I lived closer this would be in my top 3 frequently visited coffee shops.Great for studying, meeting friends or colleagues. Plenty of bar seating with the option to charge your devices. They have a handicap accessible ramp in the back of the building btw!Parking was my only frustration at first but people left shortly after I arrived and I got a parking spot. Parking is limited when it’s busy.Parking: There is a cute plant shop on the other side of the parking lotWheelchair accessibility: There is an easily accessible ramp on the back-side of the building. You can reach it via the parking lot. Difficult to find parking when it’s busy but it seems people rotate out fairly regularly.

High quality coffee and service! Chill atmosphere with plenty of seating. Cute bakery across the hall has better food options, which the Ladder barista proudly admitted.

I don't write reviews ever but this place just irked me. Don't bother coming here. Asked for a medium coffee in a mug. Apparently there were no mugs....even though everyone else had one. The medium drink is the size of a small. I included a pic. Want a pastry with your drink? There was only one pastry to choose from. How was the service? Blah. Didn't even get a thank you when leaving a tip. Oh, and good luck finding a place to park. I will be fair. The mocha was good if you don't mind getting hosed on the size of your drink. In the end, there are better places in Spokane to go.

This place has such an awesome location and setup. Idk what vibe I'm giving off that every time I have been in I've been treated coldly. 100 coffeeshops in Spokane and I'm probably done coming to this one :( their N Monroe location is awesome though.
Not greeted at the counter, rude when asked to add cream, got both food orders wrong. The atmosphere was great, guy at the counter has to work on his customer service skills “ customer being the keyword here” will go elsewhere next time.

Great study spot, a super cute interior, and the service is very fast. Nothing really stands out with this cafe but everything is really beautiful. There's a lot of green and natural light from the windows. They have some seasonal drinks which is always nice. Prices are pretty standard not too expensive or not very cheap. They have a couple of bigger tables and a handful of small tables. There is also a bathroom out in the hallway. Ladder Coffee has a free parking lot that is connected to a plant shop (Fern).

This place is the perfect coffee shop for a great place to study, work, or chat. Amazing coffee with unique twists offered. They offer food that is a great for a small meal and superbly delicious! We added an egg to the toast and avocado to the tacos - would recommend those additions.

Good coffee and surprisingly good breakfast food. It's a small kitchen, looked like a single hot plate, but the wizard working it is putting out tasty food. There's also a bakery joint across from it that's worth a visit.
