I’ve been meeting to write this review for a while, but I wanted to self reflect for a bit until I did.I used to be an employee at Craft19 and I quit in January. As someone who got to see it personally, the negative reviews are 100% valid and correct. The majority of the employees here are Mean Girls, especially the manager and the shift leads. They openly talk extremely negative about customers even though they can hear them, and about the other employees.Doc (owner) and the manager admitted to hiring “pretty teenage girls because they bring in more money”. When I was hired, I was asked if I could “squeeze into a size small” for uniform- I’m a healthy weight 5’9 woman that’s a medium-large.Manager made many sexual remarks about me and another coworker who I knew outside of work- but me and him kept it always 100% professional at work, and the manager making comments about us made us both extremely uncomfortable. Most employees are careless with the crepes and coffees. They don’t make them hot enough, never use gloves (touch things with bare hands) and rarely wash hands. One time an employee flipped over a crepe to hide the wrong ingredients she put on. Honestly the health inspectors should come in again.Employees would flat out lie and would often say we ran out of gluten free batter to not make gluten free crepes. Yes, it took longer to make but that doesn’t mean a customer should be refused a crepe that they expect to be able to order. One of the employees has a name that’s hard to pronounce correctly at first and one of the managers kept asking her “where are you from? Like, really? Where are you from? What’s your accent from?” Extremely racist to the only girl that wasn’t white and she doesn’t even have an accent. I had to stand up for her and say “she’s American just like me”.Food is extremely overpriced for a snack that you can get better down the street. If you pay for a fancy coffee here and expect latte art, don’t. Most employees can’t or just refuse because they’d rather sit on their phone. If you want to support a local business, don’t go here, go anywhere else. I could say so much more, but I think anyone that reads this can understand that this isn’t a business anyone should support. It’s a poor company with an owner who wants “pretty teenage girls” managed by girls who peaked in high school and are still mean bullies. Hour and a half wait for crepes is ridiculous. If my review gets deleted, I will keep posting it.

The girls you have working at this place are absolutely horrible. I went this morning, and they treated me, my friend, and the other customers they interacted with terribly. So cruel and passive aggressive. I haven’t felt so personally victimized since high school, but funny enough, they looked young enough to be in highschool so maybe I’m on track here. I actually love the food and coffee here, but the staff would make me never want to go there again and I will tell everyone I know the same. The tall, young blonde with fake eyelashes was the worst of them all. She made it very obvious that they were all talking about the customers rudely and made me very uncomfortable. I was sitting there with my friend and I was facing the counter and those girls were staring at us, very obviously talking about us, etc. It was the constant staring, the whispering, the smirks being exchanged, etc. I even saw some other reviews saying the exact same thing about these girls. I am giving you business, I even tipped (I wish I hadn't) and your employees are going to treat customers like that? Never coming back again.

if i could give this place a 0 star i would, the tall blonde girl with the fake eyelashes continued to give me and my family dirty looks and knew absolutely nothing about the food. after she brought us our food she went behind the counter and started laughing and talking very loudly while using inappropriate language. if you want a place to take your children without them listening to inappropriate stories from the workers don’t come here!!

The lady and I enjoyed our first experience at Craft.19 for Valentine's Day breakfast together. The crepe portions were larger than I expected and are perfect for getting two different types and sharing. I would recommend one sweet and one savory as we did with the banana Nutella and lumberjack. The coffee and overall vibe of the café was also enjoyable.

Been a loyal customer for years, and stayed loyal during their closing time. Went to go check out their Instagram for any updates menu items, to find out I was blocked. I haven't had any negative interaction for this to be done. This is really unfortunate and unprofessional for a business. And since reopening, their quality in hospitality and staff has gone down, clearly a management issue that needs to be fixed. This is how you lose customers. Very disappointing and brings down the integrity of our beloved Sumner. Will not support anymore. :(

Overall not the best first experience. We arrived at about 9:45 with a party of 3 and didn't receive the food until 10:30. The Nutella crepe didn't come with bananas for some reason. The food was good once we got to taste it but there was no explanation for the delay as well as no apology.

This place is not m the same since they reopened!! Crepes taste bland, coffee taste the same but the portions of the coffee is off, the manager with the white eyes is not welcoming at all, no smile straight face and is rude. Staff is not as friendly as they use to be. The crapes take forever to come out waited 40 minutes. They use to come out within 10 minutes. I loved this place but I think I’ll be looking for a new crepe place.

Great coffee, and the classic crepe was fast and really goodHowever the hostess really didn’t listen and my wife’s crepe was forgotten. Others in our group had their crepe orders misheard, and forgotten. However they did have one special request crepe because of dietary restrictions. Sat for at least an hour trying to get correct orders.Stick with the simple items and you likely won’t have any issues

Came in and it was semi busy. Ordered crepes and told order would be right up. 30 minutes later checked on order and was told it would be 30 minutes longer. Restaurant was empty. They forgot my order. Won’t be back to a restaurant run by children.

Took almost 45 minutes for one crepe. The staff is clearly new and undertrained. I would never return to this place after waiting so long for a $17 crepe.

The quality has definitely gone down lately. The staff all acts as though they don’t want to or care to be there. Kind of sad for how cute this place is. Just all looks and nothing else.
