Absolutely wonderful experience here! We had the burger with tots and the fish & chips, everything was delicious. Also tried a bunch of different ciders and they were great too! Definitely will be back for more!

Stopped in after a round of golf having seen the taphouse from the freeway. Great experience all around, from the number of TV's to the design of the taphouse and the food truck, I will definitely be back!

Great beers. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Warm and welcoming environment. Add it to your rotation.

The beer is great, but, the on site food truck is marginal at best. Since you can no longer bring in outside food, more and better options need to be available.

It was great. Wife and I got burgers and rootbeer on tap! They also have boardgames that you can play while you wait for your food. Or if you wanna stay a while they have a wonderful selection of beer. Cheers?

We had our 50th HS reunion there recently and the Half Lion team was great: courteous, professional, helpful, patient. The service and beer was good, and the food tasty. Sadly, we ran out of food, but the reunion organizers take responsibility for not ordering enough, and we didn't monitor portions like we should have. That was on us, not Half Lion. Despite that awkward glitch on our end, Half Lion provided a wonderful venue for our evening together, reuniting with our classmates. The HL manager was fantastic to work with and the staffers were gracious throughout the long evening. I'd recommend Half Lion again for reunions. Fun place, great people, good food, good service. Check them out.

Bathrooms are disgusting. There are products that clean well and also remove mineral stains. I didn't see a lion anywhere in the building I'm assuming that means they are half Republican, or confused. There is not enough parking for large groups of people. I require handicap parking and it is pretty much minimal. I had to park up on the hill above the parking lot. The servers were pleasant and seemed to be on top of things. I have no desire to ever step in this place again.

This place has really phenomenal beer and immaculate vibes. The bartenders are all great, Steve was the bartender tonight and he was amazing! I highly recommend checking out Half Lion.

Not everyone fits in everywhere, and some people should probably just stay home. I’ll start with that.Looking for some rock for a landscaping project, I noticed on Google Maps that there was a place called Half Lion Brewing Company, next door to the rockery I was headed to, not far from my house. I checked out their website, and learned that on Saturdays, they have a food truck serving food between 3:00 and 9:00p.m. I decided to head over around 4:00 p.m.They have a fun sign out by the road (see my photo), so it’s not difficult to find. There is also a large parking lot that can accommodate large pick-up trucks, and camper vans. The first thing you notice as you walk to the building, is the food truck where the magic happens. As soon as I walked in, I noticed how spacious, inviting, and creatively decorated the space is (see photos). Not having been there before, I approached the bar, and asked the bartender if I needed to check in with anyone, and if I was free to sit anywhere. I ended up sitting at the bar, which made my first visit more enjoyable.I asked about the food, and was promptly presented with a menu. When I was ready to order, I gave my order to the bartender, he gave me a buzzer, and told me that when the food was ready, the buzzer would go off, then I just needed to step out to the food truck to pick up my food. When I arrived, the place wasn’t too busy, so it didn’t take long for the food to be ready. I ordered the fish and chips (that’s fries to us ‘mericans), and a side of pretzel bites. The fish was crispy, the tartar sauce uniquely tasty, and the fries were unusually good for simple fries. I also received a tip that the burgers are amazing, but I’ll try one next time. I told you magic happens inside that food truck. Not long after, I met Natalie, who turned out to be the manager. She was incredibly easy to talk to, and very amicable. I learned, that like me, she is also a Veteran, so we already had much in common. Over the course of the next two hours, we enjoyed the Half Lion pilsner (all me), the cider, and their hard seltzer (of which there are several flavors). If beer is not your thing, Half Lion also has their own branded red wine. I also noticed that they have beer flights, and some customers stopped in to refill their growlers. I asked Natalie about the mugs on the wall, and she explained all about the Half Lion mug club. I was all in! Just waiting for my mug!The Half Lion also has a spacious outdoor area, that is probably the best place to be when the weather dries up around here. Before we left, I mentioned to Natalie that I was getting married in May, and before I knew it, I was on the books for a party of 10 at the Half Lion, the night before the wedding. That was very unexpected and thoughtful of her to offer to reserve a space for our small party.Obviously, because I joined the mug club, I will be returning at least once a week. While the Half Lion is happy to reserve space inside or outside, or even the entire venue for a private party, I strongly recommend that you stop by, sit at the bar, order a beer, and talk to Natalie in person first about the details. This way, you can recon the venue yourself before deciding to hold an event there, and don’t end up realizing that perhaps this wasn’t the best place for your event. Either way, Natalie and the staff at the Half Lion will be happy to welcome you, get you one of their delicious drinks, and see what they can do for you. Don’t forget to order a snack from the food truck!

The Half Lion has a great atmosphere, friendly and fast employees, and some darned good beers.I've been there around 6 times in the last 3 months and keep going back. Always have had a good time.Usually a lively atmosphere and occasionally a large party going on (birthday, etc.). People seem to like it for their kid's birthday parties also since I've seen 2 or 3 of them there. (lots of things to do for the kids). They have a food truck right outside with some pretty good food, and you can bring the food back into the Half Lion.Music is usually very good and not too quiet and not too loud. The manager and the other employees are great. Very friendly, efficient and professional. It can get quite busy in there sometimes but even if there's a line at the bar it moves quickly.Would I go back? I'm going tonight. :-)

Love this place! 4 delicious flavors of hard seltzer on tap, friendly service, dogs welcome on the patio, and (when it’s open) a fantastic food truck. We live well over an hour and a half away and regularly make the trek.
