The owners need to appreciate the workers at this location. There is another coffee place inside the Spar restaurant and they have later hours which is needed more then your early hours. I really don't know why you close at 3PM when most businesses close at 5:00 - 5:30 daily.Parking: This street is always very busy and traffic coming both ways

This place has an old town feel. The service was not great, but the coffee was amazing. It's a good place to sit & drink your coffee or eat your breakfast sandwich.Kid-friendliness: Bar height chairs & tall tables to sit at.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level easy access.

Nice Coffee shop with clear views of the park. The floor vibrates subtly from an HVAC system underneath.

Staff was not nice forgot my order. I don't know if she they were not happy I didn't tip or my card I did tip in cash instead but they did not see, if you ask me I think tips should be earn like I waitress (who serves you right) and not a cashier who just take an order and doesn't even smile. Also the cinnamon roll was horrible super dry or just old.

Warning: country music. It's a cozy little cafe with fun industrial decor and a park next door, but if you're not a fan of country music, think twice.

Coffee was not the best I have had from anthem. The consistency needs some work between the different shops. Tried this one out since my old anthem closed. :( But staff were nice and atmosphere you could hang out at.I got an Americano and Carmel latte and both were not up to par. Keep working on it.

Been going to Anthem for years now! The staff at this location was great and super friendly. They had some awesome and unique drinks which me and my friend tried. Great customer service. Will be back at this location soon!

Friendly staff, funky, fun atmosphere, food is good, especially considering nothing is made from scratch here. Nice outdoor seating. Near Glass Museum.

I've been to several Anthem locations so when the coffee shop I wanted to go to was jam packed I knew that Anthem would be a good alternative. I went in on a Sunday morning and the place was basically dead...looks like everyone else was in the other shop down the street! Like all the other Anthems I've been to the store was clean and had the same design style. Service wasn't very friendly, and it was obvious that the barista was having one of "those days." I'm human, too, so I know how it is, no worries. I opted to get a mango reviver and received watermelon. *sigh* it took long enough already that I decided to just go with it. Overall this is the worst Anthem location I've been to and now I'm extremely curious about the that other coffee shop down the street - there's got to be a reason they're full to the brim while Anthem is dead.

I live in old town and just started going to this coffee shop. I want to love it so much because they have all my favorite things and the few times I have been there, have had good experiences. The barista that was working today ruined that. I questioned my drink because it wasn't the same as I have gotten before at this shop. She immediately responded to me rudely with a smirk and treated me like I was wrong! I have patience, things happen and orders get messed up. What I won't tolerate is rude customer service. This is very unfortunate because I was excited for this to be my new "spot" but this encounter has left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be returning.

The coffee is good and the location is great but there was one barista today who made the service unforgettably bad. I came in for a cappuccino and sat down to read. No idea during winter hours they close at 3pm--all good, my bad. 3pm hits and said barista goes to the door to switch the sign off and says "AAANND we're closed! Wow, and we still have a customer, wow, I love our customers!" She proceeded to go out the back door. Honest mistake on my part (summer hours usually close at 5pm); unnecessary aggression on barista's part. I will not be going back. (Later on I found the same barista taking out the trash and complaining about how her job is like babysitting and how her customers are all like children. Anthem is a great coffee spot but here's hoping the barista finds some other job that suits her).

The coffee is good. Those little breakfast burritos are delicious! But those delicious breakfast burritos could be a little bigger :) aaaannnddd the sauce that comes with them has good flavor. Like, it’s pretty darn good!

I love the Old Town Anthem. It's one of my go-to spots after my morning downtown-Tacoma-high- school-drop-off -- when I can't bear the idea of immediately going straight home just to sit in front of my computer. My favorite drink is the Wake Up Call with either vanilla or lavender syrup. It's everything I want in my morning espresso. And what makes it even better is the walk I can take on the waterfront when I'm done.
