Their food is always on point and has very complex flavors!I highly recommend them as domany of my friends in the area.I would not hesitate to hire them for any event large or small.Gayle is meticulous and tried and true! Had Gayle Orth cater my wedding and the main reason we went with Gayle was due to the extensive menu options she offered. Our reception was super fun and the only negative thing was that there wasn’t enough food for our guests even though a handful of people couldn’t make it!! It was super embarrassing visiting our tables of friends who didn’t get any food. Luckily they were super understanding but I’d expect a caterijg business who’s been in the industry for forever know how to make enough food for the number of guests we expected. The other thing was that we found out that food had ran out from our friends and family, did not even hear from Gayle or her team directly!!! They also served dessert at the same time so that ran out within 10mins and not everyone got to have dessert. I also didn’t even get to try all the desserts at my own wedding. Disappointed is an understatement.

We worked with Gayle and her team on a very last minute memorial service for a dear family member who passed unexpectedly. She was very efficient and gracious and was able to plan a 75 person event in 1-weeks’ time, sourcing very specific food and drink items loved by the person being celebrated, finding environmentally friendly server ware, finding a florist who delivered the most beautiful flowers and staffed the event with folks who handled the event and our grieving guests with respect and tenderness. Would definitely recommend Gayle and her team again.

My primary criteria for any caterer is first and foremost delicious food and second great service. Gail easily has some of the best food around and is head and shoulders above the competition. On the service side, her staff is efficient, fast, and very professional. We plan to utilize Gail Orth Catering for many more events in the future.

I was helping my friend, the bride, with some wedding things. They decided to go with this catering company. It was so hard to get in touch that the bride just ended up dealing with the food portion. Multiple emails and calls were made and when she finally did respond the same response is "I am just so busy"... No one is doubting that you are busy. We just don't want to hear it at every interaction. It almost sounds like an excuse as to why there is poor communication on their part. It also makes the client feel unimportant and that things are not getting done especially when the wedding is less than a few weeks away. In the end, food was there and it was buffet style. They seemed to have run out of dinner food and guests constantly were waiting for a new pan which would sometimes take a while. It is understandable especially if making a fresh batch. What is not understandable is knowing a quote of number of guests that are attending and still not having enough food and dessert. There were actually about 10 people who did not end up coming to the wedding so it was even less than quoted. To run out of food and dessert before dinner service is over is extremely disappointing. Many people in the wedding party did not even grab dessert or more food so that there would be some available for guests. If we knew that each guest had to only have half a scoop of fried rice and only grab one mini dessert per person then we would've liked to have been informed prior to picking them. An email has been sent already but of course ignored which is not surprising. The overall experience with this catering company has been extremely disappointing.
