Food was good. Waiter was amazing ans vibes was awesome. They have drink and they do mocktails! Pad Thai isn't great but they mango fried rice was awesome. They are open for a couple hours in the afternoon and closed again then open for dinner. Group of 4 or more, make a reservation if possible. We have a group of 8. Will come again for the vegan options they had.

I am deeply disappointed to say that our experience at Indochine restaurant in Tacoma was one of the worst we've ever had. To start, we waited for an hour for our appetizer to arrive, only to find out later that the order was never placed. Despite ordering cocktails, the Margarita was excessively sour, prompting us to ask for a replacement, which took an additional 25 minutes to arrive. Our main dishes took another hour to be served. We were celebrating my mother's birthday, and it was disheartening to see her so disappointed with the service. Despite having balloons and presents on our table, the server failed to acknowledge the occasion or make any effort to improve our experience. Even when we ordered dessert, the server neglected to offer any special treatment for my mom's birthday.Furthermore, when dessert finally arrived, it was missing the gelato that was supposed to accompany the chocolate cake as per the menu. We had to remind the waiter about this, and even then, he brought the gelato separately. When we received the check, we were surprised to find that we were charged for all the mistakes we had encountered, despite the server's assurance that he wouldn't charge us.Overall, our experience at Indochine was extremely disappointing, and we have no intention of ever returning. It's truly a shame that such a special occasion was marred by such terrible service.

A little noisy, but beautiful placeAnd the seats have no back, so if you have back problems find a different area to sit.

This place was phenomenal, fresh rolls were large portioned and made to order, and the Black Sea was one of the best Thai dishes I have ever had.

Great food and a great place for a nice night out. They have some seats that are better than others but I've enjoyed it every time I have gone.

this was the first time we ate at Indochine. The waiter was JJ and he was fantastic. He gave us knowledgeable advice on the menu since my wife is dairy intolerant. The Chicken Tika Marsala and pot stickers were devine. I think the only negative that I would say was that the wine list was limited. But, all in all, a wonderful experience with enough food taken home for another meal.

From the moment we were seated to the end of the meal, I was impressed by the friendly service. The ambiance is fabulous, and noise levels low enough that it was easy to carry on a good conversation. The drinks and appetizers did not disappoint. And the Jungle Curry was one of the best dishes I've eaten in a long time. I also highly suggest paying the extra for the saffron rice. So delicious!

Have you ever looked forward to something and then left extremely disappointed? That would sum up our experience with Indochine. First off, the ambience is very nice and inviting inside. However, if you are going for more than the ambience then be prepared to be disappointed. We ordered the orange chicken, the cashew prawn dish, some pad Thai, a couple kids chicken fingers, and a Thai coffee. The coffee was great! The food was barely edible and that is being generous. Both the chicken and prawn pieces were sooooooooooo doughy that it literally felt and tasted like I was eating a corn dog. The flavor and texture were both horrible. I've never tasted anything like it and I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants. If you are looking for good, authentic Thai food then I would avoid this place. If you're just coming for the ambience and having a quiet drink then you should be fine. The wait staff probably thought we were being irresponsible by ordering a lot of food and leaving it all on the plates and telling them we didn't need any boxes. I felt bad leaving so much food behind but it wasn't edible. I've never heard my wife say that she wishes she throws up just to get the food out of her body. ‍

We have eaten at Indochine on several occasions. As has always been the case, the food was outstanding, they were able to accommodate one of our diners garlic allergy, and the service is excellent. Indochine has a diverse and well thought out menu. It is always a pleasure to dine there.

I would like to give a higher rating but even though we had a reservation for 4 and the restaurant was not overly busy, we were seated in a back overflow room. The service was good but the atmosphere was disappointing. It was a girls night out but we all wished it had been a girls night in.

We had an excellent visit to Indochine!! SO THANKFUL FOR GOOD GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!! We chose this restaurant based on gluten free options for our party, and we were thrilled! Solid options and very knowledgeable server! Great food, great service & great environment! Thank you!

Crappy. Don't let the exotic decor lure you in, it's not worth it. I think this place might have some management issues. The service was fair, but needs some help. There are some pretty standard common-sense type of things in hospitality that apparently were not standards for them, or maybe people here just aren't thinking or considerate, or are totally ADD. The staff did try to be pleasant, so maybe it's their training that stinks. The host nicely allowed me to chose my own table. It looked like it had priorly been sat in but abandoned, as menus were there, but utensils unwrapped. The host cleared the unused utensils, and disappeared without giving me new ones ! My drink was brought with a glass of ice. I let my server know I didn't want ice, so he took the glass and never returned with an empty one for me. I was really wanting to sip my drink out of a glass while I waited for my meal. When my food arrived, I had to ask for a glass. She nicely went to get it, and ironically headed back with a glass full of ice. I called out to her to let her know I didn't want ice. She dumped it and brought me the glass. So, when does asking for a glass mean asking for a glass of ice?? I asked for a glass, NOT ice! Really, what they SHOULD do RIGHT OF THE BAT, is simply ask the customer if she'd like ice in her glass. That would save some time, effort, and ice (= water & electricity). OK, so I got my glass, then realized I had a meal in front of me, but still no utensils! Too many issues already with service! Fortunately I was able to grab utensils from another table. I think they want to be nice here, but need better training, which means the management needs a kick in the pants to be more concerned with details of hospitality (certainly the servers want to make better tips, right?). Now for the food. Bleh! Just like all the other numerous recent reviews said, NO FLAVOR!! I believe the food was under-salted, and not fresh. But also, TOO SPICEY! My mouth was kind of on fire. It was not unbearable, but it was too much for me personally, and without warning from the menu or server, and the spicy heat was so much so that it covered up the flavor of the food. But not entirely. I could still taste enough that I could tell the beef tasted old, stale, and flavorless, and the veggies tasted like they were the precut type straight out of a bag from Costco. Usually in good cooking, the flavors are melding, but not here! Bleh! NOT worth what I paid for. The cook does not know what he/she is doing. Going to your average cheap Chinese, Vietnamese, or Thai restaurant would have been way better. I was really hungry and had an appointment after eating, so I decided to just eat it. However, if I had more time, I would have asked for a refund and gone some place else that would please my tastebuds. I wondered how this place even got 3.5 stars and looked back at their review history. Looks like they've been really going downhill in the last year. I'll never go back here.

I was so excited to go here for my birthday dinner, love Thai! I has some curry, and it was HEAVY on the curry and had that soap taste to it. The noodle dishes we ordered were good. the specialty drinks were good. We had gelato for dessert and it was old and ice bits in it. Over all it was over priced and not at all what i expected.
