So disappointed in the Primo Grill. I had heard good things so I took my husband and our friends to dinner for his 64th birthday on Saturday. We were seated in the front, next to the host/hostess station. When I powdered my nose in the ladies' room afterward, I saw a very cute room in the back. It would have been nice to be there. I got the feeling that everyone working was just done for the night or had quietly quit. I had talked with Frankie that afternoon and told him this was a special occasion, but there was nothing special about it. The food was marginal. I had the oyster/arugula salad. The oysters were room temperature, bordering on cold. The flavor was good, but with cold oysters, the dish was kind of icky. The waitperson told us that people came into the restaurant specifically for this dish, but I would never return for it. My husband had pasta with pork ragu. Very bland. Two of our friends had the spaghetti carbonara. It looked like something I would make myself at home--spaghetti with white sauce out of a jar. They were out of foccacia bread so they brought our table two small (about the size of the palm of one's hand) pieces of bread to share. We needed Jesus there to make it into enough for everyone but I think he was eating someplace else. Another friend had the chicken, which looked OK. No one raved about the food. The next day my husband thanked me for taking us all out but said, "Let's never go there again."

Fantastic food, drinks, and service! Medium high on pricing but not unexpectedly high. Only drawback was the noise level. A bit difficult to have a conversation. Other than that, great! We will be back!

I'll be dreaming about that Pan seared oyster salad. Hope you add that to the menu. AWESOME!! And the duck was good. Short rib good. Never disappointed with my dinner at Primo!

Place was amazing. Great food, sever was awesome, the kitchen staff deff didn't seem to be happy, but I'll be damned if their plates weren't some of the best food I've had in town. In their defense, the head chef was up their backsides so a former BOH guy I fully get it and it didn't take away from the experience at all. Took my wife and grandmother her for valentines just a few weeks back. You must try this place!

From Maryland, where good food is easy to find, unlike Washington. With that out of the way, Primo's is about as good as your going to get. Food is excellent. Service is great and you don't have to worry about tipping (which is a backward culture anyway), since Primo's does an automatic surcharge. Whatever! You do you, Primo...I would classify Primo's as a neighborhood gem. You feel like a winner when you dine there. It took me long enough to find good food here in WA, and I'm thankful. We'll be back.

Great food, amazing staff with a smile on their faces. We love Primo and will go again and again. Celebrated Valentine’s Day with my husband yesterday and the fungi pizza was my favorite. King salmon was good as well. Virgin Mohitto one of my favorite ones I have tried.

Great service, chill vibe, excellent wine (Paul Hobbs Pinot Noir), TREMENDOUS starters (bread service, grilled calamari, brussel sprouts), and DELICIOUS entrees (carbonara, pesto, mussels, and beet ravioli. Bravo Primo Grill!!

The food at the Primo Grill was very good just small portions of meat for the high cost. We did not have our drinks served until our salads so rather slow service at the beginning but caught up. I doubt that we will go back because it is so expensive and was not the exquisite experience that would be expected for the cost. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend considering the above.

Primo is quality--quality food, quality atmosphere, and quality service. Primo is a great choice for anything from a casual weeknight supper to the fanciest date-night event. You can't go wrong with Primo!
Two foodie couples, one from Olympia and the other from Seattle, met in the middle, and had a great meal at Primo Grill. We had a ribeye, a pork chop, a Moroccan-spiced half chicken, and pasta with a ragu sauce, all great. Service was spot on. All in all a great evening.

OK ambiance if you are lucky enough to be seated in the main part of the restaurant. I was seated in the very back, which appeared to be an add-on. It was a sterile and cold environment, and not very welcoming. Felt like I was in a diner, or party room. Not what I expect from a higher end restaurant, and with the prices the way they are today. Not the pleasantest of experiences.
Such a lovely meal. The Barada was delicious. The pumpkin ravioli was perfectly made and had a great texture. The pork chop was one of the best I've ever had. The star of the show was the calamari so amazing.

Service was great and food was delicious. I had the pork chop and my husband got the grill steak. The calamari was tender and well seasoned. Love the pana cotta with fresh fruits as well. The noise level is very loud and the tables are super closed to each other to where you can hear other people convo. Last surprise is that the place automatically charge a 20% on the bill without our awareness.
