Excellent variety of cheese and bread. The aged vinegar was awesome! Unique decor and huge wine selection, full bar.
Perfect place to grab drinks after work. I love their cheese boards and drink selection. Their food is top notch. Get the Turkey sub. Every Friday I look forward to their crab chowder.
Very cool location with nice quiet vibe. I feel like it is a definite go-to for wine and cheeses. There were a few cocktails on their menu. The Manhattan was made with a Sazerac Rye, Pecan Whiskey and dark walnut bitters. It didn’t contain any vermouth so not really quite a Manhattan. The smell and nuttiness of pecan and dark walnut bitters were completely steamrolled by the undiluted high proof whiskies here. It was like drink a full glass of straight whiskey. I even poured some of my water into it to help and it was just too much. Despite my friend group and wife urging me to send it back, I opted to keep quiet about it.My wife ordered the Marion berry mule and it tastes fantastic. Our server was super friendly, made excellent wine recommendations and checked in often.Wonderful spot for wine, hit and miss on making cocktails though.
A spot frequented by those who live in the downtown corridor and is worth a visit. Great for lunch and happy hour and to catch up with a friend. A healthy choice of select wines (most range $8-12 glass), some local craft beers, and of course cheese. After all cheese is where the name derived from. Although their are happy hour specials Spent a Saturday afternoon for a nice glass (or 2) of wine with my wife and shared the Antipasto platter for $20 which is a charcuterie board. Included an assortment of 3 cheeses, 3 types of cured meat, fresh sliced baguette and olives/nuts/fruits. A nice hidden Gem in Tacoma.
Heard about this place and that they had just started Sunday Brunch. Sounded good so made a reservation for today. I ordered Crab Benedict. Crab was sandwiched between bread egg on top with hollandaise sauce - delicious! Egg was perfectly cooked. Friend ordered cream brulee French Toast ( they have flavor of the day) that was today's flavor - she said delicious! Your side was a small bowl of fresh fruit or cheesy potatoes.I would like to try dinner menu when we go again. We sat in bar, had the cutest light holders over bar, old box springs! Check out pictures.
Amazing, fast, friendly service and terrific food!
Ordered trifecta. My order today included tomato and basil, small house salad, and half salami sandwich.Very yummy. If you like balsamic vinegar you'll enjoy it.
Awesome place for a beer and a sandwich or cheese plate. Love it there. Affordable and always delicious. Highly recommend!
Love this place! Great food, drinks and service. They often have live music and local artists' work on display. Highly recommend!
For $12 I got all the sandwich I could want, and it was GREAT (cheesy British). Had the Mac n Cheese side which was phenomenal! The variety of Cider, Beer, & wine rotate a bit, so it's fun to come back again.Everybody in the group had something different (7 of us) and they all loved it.The place gets really loud if it starts to get full, so conversation can be hard to have... By the time we left (6:15 ish on a Saturday night) we had to really raise our voices to be heard at the other end of the 6 foot table.
This place was so inviting ,great service, wonderful food , amazing staff , definitely some where you can take a date , or friend to get caught uo and have wine and have antipasta tray . We really enjoyed everything about this place ... we will all be returning there soon . GREAT JOB
A great experience! We ordered a bottle of the Malbec. Everything tasted amazing.
Great customer service and good drinks! It was fun to try different cheeses
Amazing food, amazing service. Went here while my wife was starting at the hospital. Staff was very compassionate and loving. Can't wait to go back. And if you are a Mac and Cheese purist, this is a good spot for you!!
What a delightful place to visit! Husband and I brought our chessboard and played while enjoying a meat and cheese platter plus wine. Met the new owner and thoroughly enjoyed our time here, we will be back!
