We enjoyed the food but I had 6 drinks in 5 and half hours and the staff insisted I had to much to drink to drive. They threatened to call the police if I drove and came outside to write my license plate down when I told them I wasn't intoxicated. Im 6' 3", 245 lbs and don't know what makes a 24 year server an expert on a 63 year old my size drinking tolerance but if you do the math thats 1 drink an hour. I felt nothing but at any rate I don't appreciate being threatened to call police on me so I called one of the owners to discuss this matter and got no response. I'm in the restaurant and hospitality business and am well aware of the lcb regulations. I don't think the manager with this organization has any idea of the repercussions of calling the police would have done to the restaurant but I won't be back and don't need a server trying to ascertain my intoxication level especially when there was no sign of inebriation. No slurring of words or inability to function. That staff needs an education. If I had one of my customers threatened to call the police on one of my customers I would fire them but I've educated my staff on customer service and drinking protocol along with how to identify an intoxicated person. At the very least do some math. 1 drink an hour with someone my size does not make a person drunk especially when they are eating over 5 and a half hours.I hope this gets the attention of the ownership because they would not return my calls. Make sure you have a breathalyzer with you if you decide to go to this establishment.

Vegetarian options: The tapioca pudding was vegan and DELICIOUS!Kid-friendliness: Tut took both of my grandsons, and they LOVED it! We shared about 4 small plates 1st, and WOW! Then all 5 of us shared our main courses, and they melted with every bite... literally!

A friend recommended I try this place for a date night rendezvous while in town and it DID NOT disappoint.Service was attentive and impeccable.The well-made craft cocktails came out quickly (and tasted wonderful) and the pace from appetizers to entrees was perfect.To start, we enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was creamy and had deliciously crunchy croutons. We also ordered the very photogenic salmon toast; it was equally beautiful and tasty.For our mains, we dined on the scallops with risotto and spicy lamb rigatoni. The scallops were buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. They easily rank among the best I've ever had (bravo on that dish!). The rigatoni was good but underwhelming (and comparable to any at-home pasta night). I do wish I'd have tried something else instead...Observing the tables next to ours, I could easily see there's more on the menu I want to return to try. *The tables are "cozy close" to say the least and require reservations.Definitely get here. Great restaurant!
Went here to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The food is spectacular! The portions are perfect. You feel well fed but not over stuffed. The beet ravioli is something I will be thinking about for a long time!!! Thank you Wooden City for a fantastic birthday dinner!Vegetarian options: The beet ravioli is to die for!

Honey and woodfired pepperoni pizza goes well together. Who knew? Whoever is cooking up that menu at woodencity...that's who. Great food and atmosphere.
Excellent food. Make sure you have a reservation or expect to wait. We waited and the wait was worth it! Scallops were insane as was the fillet!

Had the stuffed peppers and the lamb rigatoni. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was very cool. I would highly recommend.
They do take walk-ins, there may be a wait or first come first serve bar seating. On a Saturday night it was 45 mins per table and 15 on the bar. We waited maybe 5 for the bar.To anyone who bashes their caesar salad; get out of here. It is the best caesar salad in the state. Home made dressing, you can taste every flavor, freshly grated parmesan cheese, fried croutons, fresh crisp romaine, and of course a lemon. The salad is a single appetizer style serving, small bowl packs a huge bite.Their burgers? Phenomenal. Cooked perfect, dressed perfect, sweet, savory, crunchy yet soft buns, and perfectly cooked veggies. Every. Single. Time. Get the fancy burger, it'll send you to another plane of existence, and you'll never want to leave. Portions enough to take home with you.Drinks? Strong, balanced and worth the money.Service? Perfect.How do they do this? Idk, every single time. Never disappointed with the service food or atmosphere. Please eat here. Please. It's so good.
