Homegrown Sustainable Sandwiches

Update: they were open! seems like there is new management, I spoke to them and they know it's been rough, I think staffing has been part of the problem. The food is healthy and tasty enough that I'll keep giving them a chance.Original: Just like other folks have mentioned here, they are never open. The last three times I've been there during their advertised open hours they blocked the entryways with chairs and a makeshift sign that said they were closed.

Never Open! In the past month, I was at Southcenter Mall three times and Homegrown was not open during the ‘posted’ hours of operation. No signs to advise customers why they weren’t open either! Formerly one of my favorite places for lunch….not anymore.

My daughter likes bed coming here for their breakfast sandwiches. She’s a vegetarian and they cater to her clean eating lifestyle with sustainable flavorful food.

Parking: It's located in a mall, so there is ample parking around the exterior.

Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't any raised platforms or narrow walkways. Chairs can be moved aside to accommodate a wheelchair at the table.

Organic food at the mall is reallt great! I have eaten here many times...and it is consistently good! All the times I came only had one time it wasnt good. This is my go to place for healthy sustainable meal with good ingredients

I ordered a vegan takeout from here last month and faced a contamination problem. Once I reached home and opened the package, I found a piece of meat in my food. Definitely not ordering from here again.

My mother and I got lunch here. Different people made our meals and hers looked significantly better. There was so much attention to detail, the presentation was amazing. I wonder if the employee that made hers gave each ingredient of the meal a personality. That's one of the only ways I'm able to make things look nice. For example, most of the time I put away my clothes, it's a mess. I just randomly throw stuff in my closest, but whenever I give each article of clothing a unique personality, my closet is so organized. I think about where each shirt will be the happiest. I'm cognizant about which shirts are by each other. Two flashy ones next to each other would probably butt heads, but a more modest looking one paired with a flashy one, could balance each other out. The hangers are really important too. Different hangers offer different support. It's important to find a hanger that will support that individual shirt best. In my experience, hoodies are pretty easily supported. Suits are when it starts to get tricky. Regular old plastic hangers aren't going to support those. You gotta find a non-slip, ideally velvet hanger. It takes me forever to put away my clothes when I do it like this, but it sure does look nice when I'm done. Anyway, I wasn't too happy with my meal, but my mother loved hers.

Got a bowl here for lunch, it was good. It was hearty and filled my tummy, a good amount of food. I would for sure come back. The habanero dressing had just the right amount of spice, annd the products seemed fresh.

We ordered 4 salads. The place was not packed but it took 30 minutes to make the salads. You also have to order on a kiosk and we had some questions about the menu but no one helped us. They just kept walking past us.
