Decent quality food but very small portions.Definitely not worth the wait for brunch on a weekend. We were told it’d be 20-30 minute wait and waited 48 minutes, plus another 30 for our food to come out. $40 for two dishes somehow too.

Beautiful location, good vegan options (but could definitely use some more!). Owner is extremely kind and warm

Great little breakfast spot. They have an express area too. Gf options are delicious for the allergy in your family. Great service and better food. I Beignets were delicious.Dietary restrictions: My wife eats gluten free. She was able to eat with a little substitutions. It was a great Eggs Benedict! A few other options but staff was carful and knowledgeable.

ANOTHER UPDATE (probably my last)The vegan options at the bakery are what set this place from other restaurants in Vancouver! I wanted “good/appealing” vegan treats from a bakery vs Nabisco Oreos!Aside from the vegan cookies and treats, the non - vegan options are great. I have had a lot of brunches here. It’s been mostly consistent on average. And they have a vegan dinner (I haven’t had it yet!)I will be returning. 5/5

A lot of hype for bland food and staff seems uninteresting/slightly rude.I wouldn't come for the dine in experience, not counting the 25 min wait. The food and pateries look picturesque but bland.

This is our second time visiting Bleu Door Bakery. The restaurant is Paris and blue themed, with a lot of cute sayings and quotes around. You will walk in and be greeted with a wonderful display of pastries and cakes. We were a big party of 8 and went for brunch. I would definitely recommend using their online waitlist as they can get pretty busy. Staff did let us sit down before our whole party showed, so that was very nice! I believe we only waited for about 20 minutes. One thing I love about this place is they will do specials each month. We went in February, so the specials were red/love themed. I had the beetroot latte, which was a little gritty but still tasted good. Kind of like a chai.I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, which came with 2 eggs cooked however I wanted. It has a wonderful tomato and leek sauce that is so good!My partner got the Biscuits and Gravy that also comes with 2 eggs cooked however they wanted. The biscuits were bacon and cheese biscuits and were very flakey! We will definitely be returning!Vegetarian options: They do have vegan options, and some of the other items are vegetarian but not super clearly labeled. We came with a vegetarian and they certainly enjoyed the vegan mushroom biscuits and gravy!Parking: Pay for street parking, which is plentiful. Saturdays are free!

Stopped by for a Saturday breakfast and managed to beat the brunch rush. They were short a server, but only a 10 or so minute wait. Our server was very nice and friendly, made sure to check on us a couple of times throughout our meal. My wife had gotten the vegan biscuits and gravy while I ordered the regular. The kitchen did send out two vegan ones initially, but they quickly corrected it once I pointed out what had happened. I did have a bit of a longer wait for my meal because of that, but human error exists and it was honestly so delicious I completely forgot all about it. Even with them being a person down, they managed to keep a busy morning flowing pretty well it seemed. It was definitely loud and energetic inside. Overall a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Love love love this bakery! They generally have vegan options which is very much appreciated. I usually prefer their vegan sweets but today I tried the veggie sandwich on ciabatta bread with pesto, carrots, mushrooms, and caramelized onions and I just don't get it... I understand this is a French bakery so I shouldn't expect anything veg but can we please put some effort into veggie options if they are on the menu for purchase? On another note the lentil soup was AMAZING!! Wish I would have gotten a bowl and skipped the sando completely.
