Their specials are good but not as flavorful as the description makes them out to be. Mine was supposed to be minty and chocolatey and I tasted no chocolate. Great mint flavor though. Could have been hotter, it was just barely warm. My friend said hers didn't taste as described either, it was lacking a fruity flavor in the description. They have a great selection of loose tea so that makes up for it.

A wee bit o the charm that Vancouver needs so badly, nestled like a little multi colored gem right in the middle of hardest area to find parking you’ll ever see.And was it sweet? Yes. And did it feel sincere and calm and like harbor from the storm? Yes.And would I drag my weary old bones up the bright rainbow stairs to their balcony? Yes.It is a haven for those of us who might be tad bit different. You know, the different drummer, the ones of us who might believe in elves and social justice. Do I have a little gripe? Well, yes.I did ask where their Ceylon tea came from, which I think is a reasonable question for a tea house as all Ceylon teas are not created equal, and the representative could not, even after some research, tell me. So I chose an Assam, which I also would have liked to know the origin of, but did not ask. A little more knowledge in the staff would be appreciated, but will not detract from the overall rating.Dandelion was a safe place for a nice conversation with a nice cup of tea and we were not pressured to hurry and that is gold unto itself.Parking: Street parking. Can be very difficult. Downtown.Kid-friendliness: I’ll bet kids would like it.Wheelchair accessibility: Good accessibility.

I was taking a walk to get away from the office for a bit. Walked and found this place, and I'm so glad that I did. Very calm, relaxing, and great tea! Thank you for a great first experience.

My favorite hang out spot in downtown, and I’m not even a huge tea person! The staff are always very kind and clearly very knowledgeable about their craft. Their drink offering is exclusively tea, but it’s very well made, high quality tea both iced and hot, and even I’ve been able to find my favorites among their impressively large menu. They currently have a monthly special hot chocolate (sadly not permanent!) that’s possibly the best I’ve ever had.The main space is wheelchair accessible - they have a ramp available for the doorway if you just knock on the window politely. The upstairs is sadly not, but there’s plenty seating downstairs and considering the age of the buildings in downtown Vancouver it’s disappointing but not their fault at all.The bathrooms are gender neutral single stall. They sell some items and a few snacks from local vendors as well as their own tea blends. They have board games available to play and there’s regularly scheduled (usually witchy and spiritual-type) events here in the evenings. They also have free wifi!Overall, a wonderful place I love to come sit and do my college homework in. I could not recommend more.

Cozy little shop with an assortment of teas and things to help you find relaxation and peaceful tranquility. The lovely person that helped me choose some loose leaf tea was such a treasure. I explained what I was looking for, they asked some questions about flavor profiles and then showed me some different options. No pressure, just friendly. We chatted about cats and I picked out one I liked. The tea was stellar! I can't wait to go back.
