Previous reviews were correct. My wife and I decided to eat here after reading the reviews. The street Tacos were absolutely wonderful. Very fresh and flavorful. I'm only sorry my wife wouldn't let me order more. Friendly staff too. Highly recommend trying this establishment.

El Buen Gusto has a simple menu, but executes well on your typical Mexican fare. If you have a craving for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, or nachos, then you can get excellent value here. I'm a fan of their burritos which are the right balance of density...not too much filler, and not pure meat. They also distributed the ingredients throughout the burrito, and not leave you with full bites of a single thing. If you are a burrito connoisseur, you know what I mean. Tacos are of the street variety. Small, but tasty, with well seasoned meat, cilantro, and onions. Don't bother trying to find their menu online. Their website doesn't even have a menu, and lot of what's out there is very outdated. Tuesdays are taco days, which lowers the normally $2 taco to $1.25. I'd still recommend the burritos though.

Do NOT get the nachos. Cheap chips and cheese sauce like ballpark nachos. The cheese sauce made the chips so soggy in the 5-minute drive home I had to eat the whole thing with a fork. The meat was tasty but there wasn't nearly enough of it. Absolutely not worth the price.

Went for lunch, my wife had a Carne Asada Burrito that was mostly filler, beans, rice, lettuce and not much carne. I had Carne Asada Nachos, these were made with cheese sauce poured over cold chips with pickeled jalapenos and some sour cream added. Person taking orders was pleasant enough too bad the food was so disappointing. Will not be going back to this place again.

One of my favorite things about my house, is living close to this place! My boyfriend and I eat here pretty often and are never disappointed! Pricing is wonderful and everything is so delicious! Of course the tacos are phenomenal but the chicken quesadilla has been my go-to lately!! You just can't choose wrong here. And to top it all off, the staff is super nice and friendly as well. Makes it super easy to support this small business :)

I like to think that I'm somewhat of a Mexican food connoisseur as I grew up eating my grandmother's Mexican home cooking and since her passing, I've been searching for something that tasted similar. I've tried so many different types of Mexican cuisine throughout the US. I finally gave El Buen Gusto a try because I was craving tamales and let's just say that THIS was exactly what I had been looking for here! The tamales and rice were flavorful and cooked to perfection and reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. My husband loves burritos and said it was hands down his favorite al pastor burrito that he has tried here. His favorite being one from our hometown in the midwest which actually has some amazing Mexican food options that I truly miss. Both the red and green salsas are mild, which I prefer because I love to use a lot of salsa. I'm just sad that it took us so long to find this place. The only downside is that they do have a somewhat limited menu, but what they do serve is incredibly delicious and is definitely worth a try.
