Best banana cakes ever! The person that took my order on the phone was borderline rude. Next time that happens I'll go to Helen Bernhard bakery. Customer appreciation should be constantly on the mind, especially when a person pays more than $60 for a cake.... Politeness, (as I am) and thank you's, go a long way. There was no "thank you" when I placed my order.

I don't indulge often, but when I do Larson's Bakery is my focus. They have the type of baking that takes you back to another time ... Truly homemade and delicious. I do have one challenge every time I go ... I temporarily go insane and want to buy everything I see. Self control, what is that when you go to Larson's? The staff are excellent, pleasant and sincere in their service. Check them out when you want a special treat.

It's a hit-and-miss when it comes to going to this bakery. Either the lady that is always at the front will greet you and treat you with respect, she should. However, if you catch her on a bad day (which is 80% of the time), she will treat you like sht and make you feel like an inconvenience for being there.I have to take a deep breath every time I walk in there to stay polite and not cuss her out. lolI shouldn't have to do that.

Have to give a solid 5 stars because their goodies are absolutely amazing!On another note… had lunch with my family for the first time here today to got some soup and sandwiches! The soup of the day was squash and apples.. tasted like baby food… the traditional soups I’m sure would of been better, chicken noodle, loaded potato, house tomato and basil…I wanted the BLT.. but they don’t have bacon anymore so I got a turkey club with cheddar… I guess I thought it was gonna be more of a warm sandwich, but the bread was sooooo hard and crunchy… it hurt my gums lol and all the inside addones was just so cold… it sucked! I thought the cheese would be melted the turkey warm… but unfortunately it was colllllldBut again… this is a bakery… alllllll their deserts are incredible!
We had a wonderful lunch here with some friends. The sweet caring lady who brought us our food was such a delight.And of course we couldn't leave without one or five of their delicious pastries! I had a raspberry and coconut piece of heaven. I think I might need an extra birthday this year just so I can come back two more time! Thank you for your hospitality.
It’s true the banan cream cake is incredible so moist and delicious their pink champagne is also amazing and not too sweet just the perfect amount of sugar!

Every year for the past three years I have ordered the chocolate ganache cake for my husband’s birthday, which is his favorite.This year unfortunately, it did not turn out so festive. The second slice into the cake, accompanied a piece of wax covered college ruled notebook paper. I put a halt to the party and an end to the cake festivities. I returned the cake the next day and received no apology from staff. Instead, I received an explanation that that is how they mark the cakes that they don’t normally make, they had unfortunately forgotten to remove the wax covered paper for that cake. I did receive a full refund. We will never order a cake from this business again. And I am glad that none of my guests eat any of this.!!
