Authentic Vietnamese. Good service. I will definitely go back my next time in Portland.
Just got done eating at Nom nom and we will never be eating at this place again. Food was ok but we waited one hour for our food. I asked them to serve the soup first but someone forgot to tell someone. The.people who came after us already finished eating by the time we got our food. I also had to ask to get spoons, bowls and plates which it seems like they also forgot so I had to go to.the front to ask for them more than twice. Everything that can go wrong seems to have happened during this dinner. I had such good expectations because of the reviews but it must be a Non Nom at a different universe because our dining experience was a nightmare.
Stumbled into Nomx2 while wondering round Vancouver waterfront. Food is above average but service is awesome.$3 off lunch menu during lunch hour. Awesome idea.Food: 4/5
Yummy drunken noodles with chicken noodles. Big portion too. I've been coming here really often and they don't disappoint.
This is my second time eating here and it won't be the last. This place is very busy for lunch and I can see why. The food is outstanding, the service is great and the value is better than most restaurants these days. I had to get my green curry again Because I'm nuts about eggplant and this time they put extra eggplant in just for me! My daughter had a green papaya salad and it was fresh and delicious. Our bill came to $28 plus tip which is amazing. I noticed that most people were having the NOMNOM Bowl so maybe I'll try that next time but it's hard to pass up the green curry because it's so delicious. After lunch we went for a nice stroll along the waterfront Park. If you haven't done that would be a good idea after a meal here. I would also recommend a Thai iced tea if you haven't had that before. It is outstanding! This is a must if you've never eaten here.
The food really is best described as "Nom Nom" delicious. I've been a loyal customer of Nom Nom since it opened five or six years ago. I was working in the office building across the street and I remember eating there for the first time with eager anticipation wondering if it would live up to expectations and become a new go-to Thai food restaurant in Vancouver, Wash. I'm pleased to report that over the years, it has maintained quality service and the food is truly delicious. I'm particularly fond of the chicken pad se ew and the pineapple fried rice. Whenever someone asks where to have lunch, I recommend Nom Nom. Go check it out!
We've tried a lot of Thai food restaurants but this is our favorite. Nice space, very good food, amazing staff, and very clean bathrooms!
Nice place, friendly staff, and decent pricing considering the current economy. Their menu has a good variety with several gluten-free options, too. For lunch the Hubs had the Bahn Mi sammie with chargrilled pork ($8, no sides) & I had the Nom Nom Bowl with lemongrass chicken ($14). For the meats we both preferred the flavor of the lemongrass chicken, but the pork was good as well. The bowl was pretty big, filling, and quite tasty, but my only suggestion would be for them to add cilantro and perhaps a wedge of lime on the side, as it could have used that bit if extra flavor boost, in my opinion (perhaps they would add those if you ask). We saw some other dishes other customers ordered and everything looked tempting. Can't wait to come back and try more!
My first visit wasn't great, so I did not visit again for 3 years. My second visit confirmed my initial assessment. Although the Nom Nom Wings were enjoyable, the Special Pho was definitely not. The quality of the beef was poor, especially for the price, and the noodles were overcooked and mushy when chewed. The broth was unmemorable. On top of this, there were a couple flies inside the restaurant. One refused to leave us alone. I would have given this place two stars if not for the Nom Nom Wings. They were crunchy and sticky and sweet on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. However, they are not enough for me to ever come back.
I went here a long time ago and decided to come back. I got red curry and it was so delicious and creamy. I loved how they cooked vegetables little more than any other places. It tasted perfectly. My coworker got Phở and it came in a super bowl with a lot of meats. It was okay but I was happy with my curry. We also got mango sticky rice. Definitely delicious. Will come back again for the curry!!
Ordered take out - spring rolls and pad thai. The peanut sauce with the rolls was killer. The pad thai was really nice; however, there was hardly any chicken present. A tasty experience that I would definitely do again.
Fly in my soup. Not once but twice. I ordered the won ton soup and got a fly in my soup. I asked for a new one and THE SECOND ONE had a fly in the soup as well.
The food was alright, not so flavorful and it didn’t really excite me or any of my family members. The food was brought out at different times which was quite weird that it wasn’t brought out all together at the same time. The crab fried rice really disappointed me, it was not the best. I think the Thai iced tea was my favorite, it was so yummy! The place was organized and clean.
Nom Nom Restaurant and Grill tries, I think, but something just wasn't quite four stars. The food was not all brought at the same time, but it was hot when it arrived. No one in my party was super enthusiastic about their meal, but found the food flavorful enough.
We had an amazing experience. Loved the food. Will be back again in a few months.
