Good lord can this man cook. This is THE best gourmet restaurant on the island or maybe any where. We travel a lot, have eaten a Michelin Star restaurants around the world and the meal we had last night was far superior to any of those places. Christopher is an unsung hero of the palate. A fantastic chef. But please don't go there because I don't want to review myself out of an open table. :-)

This is a bargain for an exceptional meal. Note: the tasting menu includes the wine pairing in the price. Usually this is an additional charge for just a wine pairing at most restaurants but here it’s part of the meal. They were also so accommodating for my friend who is vegan. The meatless option was equally well prepared and delicious. There also isn’t a tip line for your charge, so bring cash if you want to give extra to the chef, who is also your server. Amazing experience, will definitely be back.

Star quality cuisine in an unexpected setting- an old bungalow near the grocery store. Prices fixe, service included, for 4 sophisticated courses. Thursday featured Duck with carrot purée, broccolini, purple potato. Wow!

Adorable space, friendly service & very good food. We did the tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was delicious from the appetizer with fresh bread & tapenade to salad and dessert. The only issue was our main entree halibut was extremely under-seasoned and lacked flavor. It was also served with a bold red wine, which seemed to further diminish the flavor of the fish. I wondered if this wine was leftover from the other evenings when rich beef dishes were on the menu. Otherwise wonderful though, we enjoyed the dinner - definitely recommend.

So don’t expect fast service, come here to relax with no rush.Food is great, honestly, better than some one M star restaurants we tried this summer.Wine paring is amazing to my taste.Overall value is great too, normally you’ll pay 120-170 just for such course + separate for wine pairing and gratitude. So it’s a great deal for the overall exp.

3rd anniversary here and the dinner pairings are so amazingly fresh and delicious. Chef went out of his way to pair my dinner with non-alcoholic tea, hot and cold that just compliments dinner. The French wines are also amazing my wife said. A journey to Vashon well spent.

Ordering online is a bit confusing, it seems like pick up and dine in are completely different menus. We did a pick up, I tried the vegetarian option and was very impressed! For $25 it came with a salad, rice risotto and a dessert. Great price and even better quality! My partner tried the lamb dish and they also really enjoyed their meal. When we visit Vashon Island we will have to try the dine in! The inside of the building looks like a fine dining experience.
Vegetarian options: Has one but it is delicious!
Parking: Shares a parking lot with a grocery store, lots of space.

The food was amazing and the wine pairings were excellent! We went here to celebrate our anniversary and they exceeded my expectations. I’m gluten free and pescatarian and they had an alternate option for the 5th course (the only one that didn’t already fit my dietary restrictions) and they even offered gluten free bread! I would definitely come here again. Thank you to the chef and the staff at Earthen for such a lovely evening with such delicious food and wine.Sydney & Nick ❤️
