Food was good. A lot of fighting and arguing between coworkers. Ignored for most of service. Won't be back to this location.

I called to place an order 9.4.22 to the George Webbs on 27th street in greenfield. The guy that took my orders name is Devin. One of the nicest guys I have ever spoken with. So kind and professional. Get him a raise! So impressed.

Awesome service with smiling faces. Really good food and the bacon is probably the best I've ever had. That means a lot coming from a Tennessee boy!?

A native Milwaukeean, I practically grew up in George Webb's. They were ubiquitous here. One of my aunts worked at the original on the east side and knew George himself. This is where she learned to cook for a family of 8 kids. She, my mom, and their sisters were like George Webb groupies and had GW coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc. I remember cutting the coupon out of the Milwaukee Journal "Green Sheet" for 10 burgers for a buck (or whatever it was back in the day). I also remember when they honored a decades long promise for FREE burgers to celebrate the Milwaukee (Braves) Brewers going to the pennant. Thousands--literally--lined up to get their free burgers. Everyone was impressed with how efficiently they fed the masses and it made national news. Many GW franchises have gone but there are a few remaining. This morning I stopped in to this southside location for breakfast. Ugh! The service was friendly even if very slow, but the food was just awful. Scrambled eggs ok but between the hash browns, sausage links, and toast it was almost swimming in grease. I can't believe I forced myself to eat most of it but I was starving. Waaaay too much butter on the toast. I had to scrape it off and even then, because the toast was almost cold, there was butter coagulating in the bread texture (and probably my veins). The sausage links, leathery with scorched-dry ends (which I had to cut off) were probably microwaved too long. The coffee, which I remember GW having great tasting coffee, was 'meh'. What a disappointment. I understand it likely depends on the management and whoever is cooking. I also understand many small business and restaurants are short-staffed but this is a location I will never return to.

They're only open from 6am to 3pm. What the heck is that? Maybe if they were open longer hours they'd get some business.

We were looking for Chili Wednesday night We tried calling and there was a busy signal if I can't even call in an order any more at George Webb's why even bother so I'm sorry we went to Wendy's instead if you don't want our business don't be open at all!!!

I love to try 24/7 food options when nothing else is open. Unfortunately this place is only open 15/7 so I haven’t been able to try

Used to be great but the last three times I have went there, especially with takeout the food has been cold and quite terrible. I got hashbrowns that were soggy and seemed like they had been microwaved along with the fries with didnt even seem cooked. They also forgot the cheese with my fries and didn’t put a single topping I asked for on my burger. Overall I am very disappointed in what used to be a great place turning to something I would only want to eat if I was forced and starving.
