This is the only place to get afternoon tea in Madison! They have a large selection of teas and great food. I enjoy the tea tray because it's a nice sampler - the entire tray makes a good meal for one person. I will be very sad when they close! The shop is also great, with a large selection of teas and tea accessories.
This is definitely a hidden gem in Madison. It's a completely different setting than the usual bars and fast paced restaurants. We made a reservation for the tea room and got the tea tray and some tea and everything on it was so incredibly delicious we got more to share. The gift shop was precious and we bought a lot of different types of tea to try at home. We will be back and I definitely recommend coming here to have a nice relaxing time.

We had a wonderful experience at the Legacy House today! The owners are so friendly and the food and tea were delicious. We even got to see the resident cranes Matthew and Matilda come up to the table in back for a snack! Go visit Legacy House before they close in a month!
