2024-02-18 updateIn general the food was good. The salmon smelled off and our guest asked to send it back. The waitress called the owner who refused to remove it from the bill because it was expensive and popular (despite smelling off). We replaced it with a wide rice noodle dish, but they charged us the higher amount for the salmon. I’ve never seen such behavior by a restaurant owner before and felt it was penny wise and pound foolish and very disrespectful of customers. Our other dishes were OK. The wide rice noodles were neither crispy nor firm - but not too soggy.Original review:Pretty good Thai restaurant. Service was nice and professional. The wide rice noodles were nicely cooked and a little crispy. The waiter was very knowledgeable of dish details and led a great discussion!

Food was delicious, and well presented. The shrimp purses were yummy & super cool. Not too busy, it was not loud, our wait staff was attentive. We brought home left overs for tomorrow. We'll be back!

This restaurant was in a little strip mall, and, although my wife is very discerning about where we go out to eat, I wasn't expecting much.I take it all back. Each dish was amazingly good AND the total bill was very wallet-friendly.Dietary restrictions: We have gluten allergies and my wife is sensitive to dairy. We had no issues here.
Food was very good. Service was just ok. They appeared to be short of hands.

Excellent meal, wonderful service, and relaxing ambiance. We ordered two beers, a shrimp purse appetizer, an order of pad Thai, and an order of tom kha soup with chicken. Everything was delectable--the beer was ice cold, and the food was perfectly warm. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We'll be back!

We drove by this strip mall restaurant for 22 years!! We had no idea is would be so great! Good portion sizes, just the right amount of Thai heat (level 2, careful). Loved the red curry dish #45 Gaeng Kua! We will be back.On January 11, 2024 we came back and dined in. The meals we ordered included Chicken Satay (Tasty appetizer served with peanut sauce on the side)Mango Curry (very good)Yellow Curry (even better!)Pad Thai (Excellent)Tom Ka Soup (Surprisingly good and a large serving size that could serve 2-3, we just asked for small soup bowls and shared!)Sabai Noodle (Lo Mein) (just okay, nothing special)Yum Ta-wai (with Peanut Sauce) (Loved the peanut sauce!)Eggs rolls (very good and first one is free with dining in!)Dietary restrictions: Good food choices for Gluten Free, daily intolerance and vegetarian.

Previous review stated they arrived at 8:25 and were told that carry out was an option, however the restaurant closes at 9, therefore not enough time for the patrons to enjoy their meal dining in.The review is totally off base, ridiculous and serves no purpose other than making things up about attitudes of the employees. The key is the reviewer is unable to comprehend the idea of open-close. Next time arrive by 8 and enjoy your dinner. You will be a much happier person and not a dink

Wouldn’t seat us at 8:25pm when they close at 9:00pm but still offered to let us order takeout, which I find rude, greedy, and disrespectful. We definitely would have been out quickly and politely. Been going for years and years and now I think we’re done.

I've eaten at Sa-Bai Thong many times. Had vegetable fried rice tonight, and it was terrible. Mushy. And had a smoky flavor to it.Tom Kha soup was excellent, though .
Debbie was amazing !!! She worked the bar, tables , and hostess position on New Years Day. She was very knowledgeable about the menu specifics, drinks, and personal preference recommendations. She was also entertaining (with small talk, even though she didn’t have time) while maintaining the restaurant in an efficient manner.

They are always good! They are busy sometimes they don't have enough staff so the food can take longer, it's so worth it! They will answer any and all questions you have about food! I recommend the yellow curry and Tai iced tea, always a hit!

Literally my new favorite restaurant! The server/hostess is just sooo sweet and adorable. Very attentive. The food, omg the food is delicious!!! We got the shrimp purse, chicken satay, roast duck curry and the Tom Kha with shrimp. Fantastic. I also got the Thai iced tea and that was also magical.
Food is always incredible here. I usually get Gaeng Kua and it’s so good it’s hard to stop eating even when I’m full. Can’t recommend this place enough.Vegetarian options: You can get a lot of dishes with tofu instead of meat. Be careful of yellow curry as it typically has fish paste in it.
