Your small neighborhood bar! Both bartenders I met were super nice and conversational. Crazy hours! Open super early and late! Very small not a huge selection of hard liquor but perfect to start the bar hop down the street. Cash only!

West Allis dive bar at its finest.

Out of the blue, after the harvest fair, we walked into Capt’n Nick’s bar. The drinks are the best priced, in all of West Allis. The people are welcoming, and make you feel at home. Wouldn’t hesitate to come here any time, and would recommend as a great dive bar. Only complaint is they didn’t have music on, unless the “juke box” had a paid song. Thanks for a great night, will be back!

Really nice place!! Great drinks/prices, too.

Don't touch the toilet tank. You may get contaminated from cocaine residue. Miserable dirty place filled with drug addicts.

Dru and Don are some of the most amazing young men to ever set foot in the bar. Lady's u won't be disappointed.

This is a small little Neighborhood bar. This isn't a Fancy place. But we had a good time and met some locals.

It was a wild ride. Outside getting some air when a husky and german shepherd ran up on me and another patron. They had snuck out of their house and were running wild. We caught them and called the oweners who had to get the kids into winter jackets and drive to capn nicks. It was a great feeling to help keep the dogs safe and back to their owners.

Nothing to do on a Monday when your off and everyone you know is working, let's check out the local dive bars. Looks like my work schedule isn't changing any time soon so off on Monday is the norm for now and with so many places closed I'm finding out maybe Monday will become a drink in a new place that doesn't have much Yelp exposure or pictures, I can't eat out all the time like I used to but I still want to participate in Yelp. Today was Capt'n Nicks turn for a Steve stop by to check them out. I got rockstar parking at the front door which was cool. This is another neighborhood dive bar and I will try not to do dive bars only. The place is locals and they didn't me feel out of place at all and the woman bartender was friendly and sassy with the patrons, l like when there is a cool personality behind the bar instead of grumpy. Monday is some $1 dollar can special domestic I'm sure and not that I'm snob but my tastes have grown past that to the gins, bourbons and cocktails etc. I'm still a fan of the beer and burger lunch but cocktails is where I'm gravitating to as I get older. I have yet to meet a bartender who knows what a gin Rickey is, it started in the 1890s and it was very popular but no one drinks them today, it's a 0 sugar cocktail and if you're trying to keep your A1C level in check it's perfect. Yes she had no idea of how to make it so I had to explain the drink to her. Overall it's a friendly neighborhood dive bar with a great sassy short hair woman bartender who gives it back to you which makes for good bar banter.
