I rarely leave reviews but I can’t help myself with this one… this place was absolutely amazing, I truly have no idea what took me so long to make it here. The food was incredible, highlights for me being the pork shoulder and beef short rib… cooked to perfection. The goat cheesecake was to die for. Service was top notch. Start to finish it was such an excellent meal and already can’t wait to go back.
Consistent delicious dinners, drinks & desserts, with great service & ambiance. The heated women’s restroom was the cherry on top.

We ordered several things. The ham honey biscuit was actually my least favorite of everything we ordered, however it was still very good. We proceeded with the lamb carpaccio was something like I’ve never had before. Thin, cold cut lamb was an out of this world experience. We ordered the Farroto vegetarian dish as an appetizer and the beef short rib to finish. The final was the chocolate terrine which was a condensed chocolate moose accompanied with a very good sauce and topped with a few pistachios. Carson was our waiter and provided superb service. The atmosphere was the only thing I felt a little lacking, but I’d much prefer lacking atmosphere over lacking food. . I will be returning for sure, one of the best all around meals I’ve had
My husband and I had enjoyed an exquisite dinner. I fell in love with the Lamb Ragout my husband was delighted with the Duck breast. We finished off with the Goat Cheese Cheesecake, that was tantalizing. It was a cold night to which we warmed our souls with the Mulled Spiced Wine. Thank you Ralph and Madison for your welcoming warmth and Thank you to all the Chefs for awakening our senses.
Everything we had was delicious except the gnocchi was too dense to our liking. Service was great and the atmosphere there was nice. We had a great time there and would definitely go back again!

A quick google search of “best restaurants in Milwaukee” + a follow up Instagram search lead me to this Gem,Morel.I’m obnoxiously on time for my solo 5pm reservation and am the first guest In the restaurant. I decided to sit at the bar instead of a table. That proved to be another great decision for the night as I was lucky to have Dan as my bartender. Dan steered me in all the right directions from my first cocktail (Good Skelton) to my first course (Escargot). From there I was guided to order 4 more courses and a bottle of Nero. Dan’s passion and enthusiasm for this restaurant and their offerings was happily welcomed. This place is overrated, everything was very salty, we ordered lamb chops medium and it came out raw, very raw, the lamb chop came with black bean which we didn’t like that combination, everything is super small portions, not only menu changed daily, the food also changed, so don’t expect to get the same things that you saw on the pictures on google that people posted. Nothing like it, even that few dishes are the same name as mentioned on google , it’s still nothing like it, smaller portions, different things in the dishes, quite plain. We paid $160 for two of us, 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 1 dessert, 1 beer.Overall, it was good to be in a different restaurant, the prices are upscale, but the atmosphere and foods weren’t that upscale.
