Burgers and custard

I was surprised at my recent visit that the food menus was reduced to barley nothing. They had the best burgers, all varieties , no onion rings, ect. Bad food choices. And the custard choices have been cut down to merely nothing. I ordered a Sundae . Now to me a sundae has custard , chocolate or caramel sauce, maybe choice if nuts .....nooooo this one was vanilla custard, some sprinkles and whipped cream

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, my spouse and I waited over 45 min for a hotdog and malt. They had teen cashiers not paying attention....food was burnt with no manager on site. It was a great way to ruin a beach day. I highly suggest a skip if you're not just getting ice cream.

O.M.G. YES! Okay I was hot and relaxed after being on the beach all afternoon and needed something to eat like ASAP before my hangry beast came out. Got a burger from this little stand and it was perfection. The patty itself was tiny but I did not care because for me a burger is all about the bread. The bread, the toppings and how quickly it came out. I loved every bite and I was happy they had some free water to wash it all down. Their bathrooms are a little terrifying but I would still come back and try the custard next time.

Ain't what she used to be! When i first moved here in 2012, clubs would take group trips to Northpoint because it was such a gem. I went yesterday and tried to order cheese curds. Lemme tell ya, they in no hurry to do their jobs now. Took 5 minutes to get through two orders ahead of me, and I timed it after the order it took 17 minutes for my food to be handed to me. I was standing there for 17 minutes for a little 6 dollar bag of cheese curds. I think it takes at most 5 mins for those things to cook in a deep fryer, so what gives? Imagine if it was actually busy! wont be back.

My girlfriend and I are in town for a baseball game. We decided to do a little site seeing, and we stopped at Northpoint Custard for lunch. GREAT DECISION! The Big BLT is a misnomer: it's huge (and delicious). She got The Burger, and there were so many fries, we should have only ordered one side of them. After we ate lunch, we went back for a small cone. There was A LOT of ice cream, and I'm not normally a fan of soft serve, but your custard was REALLY good.

First time here and I was disappointed to find that Northpoint apparently simplified its menu significantly since the yelp reviews I had seen. No more onion rings :( They got rid of their burger choices which I was looking forward to trying, and I found it odd that they chose to nix those but kept the veggie and mushroom burgers? But whatevs. They still do a daily special so there is an option for a specialty burger. Today's was a pizza burger with pepperoni, mozzarella and marinara but we didn't try it. I liked: The chicken sandwich (I would ask for lettuce and tomato next time but it was yummy with pickles and mayo) The fries with cheese sauce. So unhealthy but so yummy. Sundae- they got rid of their sundae flavors from the menu but were still kind enough to make a s'mores sundae for me. It was large and yummy The food here was very filling. Location- conveniently close to Bradford beach, you can face the beautiful lake while you eat or you can face the road and watch all the rich people drive by in their fancy or outlandish cars/motorcycles. With my stalker eye I spotted someone with a BLT and there was hella bacon on it. Looked perfectly toasted and amazing. I disliked: The burgers had a nice char flavor but they were over cooked and dry in my opinion. The buns here are a bit tough. My husband liked them, I prefer a soft bun. To each his own, but you probably need a couple burger patties to get the right meat:bun ratio The cheese curds were fine, nothing special. Price was decent, cost us $40 for 3 sandwiches, 2 sides, and 2 ice cream treats Overall it is just the closest food option to the lake, not necessarily the quickest if you hit the lunch rush like we did
Enjoyed this eatery while relaxing and catching some sun out by the lake. The food was cooked to order---hot fries and fresh hamburgers. The custard was pure heaven! Will definitely visit again.

i wasn't really impressed with this place... food was not high quality, did not taste the best and worst of all ... the wait, i will not be waiting that long for this poor quality food again, id rather go up the hill to a fast food joint...

Awesome custard right on the lakefront, similar to Kopp's and I would say the vanilla flavor is equally as good (though Kopp's has it beat on flavor varieties). I had the burger for the first time on Memorial day weekend and it was honestly a bit disappointing for the price -- the burger was dry and under-seasoned though the charcoal flavor was nice. Would definitely go back if I was in the area but wouldn't make a special trip just to go there.

Sundae was made pretty sloppy but I still enjoyed it.

Lovely location and good custard. However the burger was overcooked and dry. They charged an extra $1 for lettuce and tomato. For a lovely urban park atmosphere with a waterfall, try Kopps on 76th and Layton; much better burgers and great custard.
