We've been here a few times, and the food is always pretty good, but I'm pleased to say we've finally had something that we thought was really exceptionally well done, which was the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. These were really excellent, and I would probably get them instead of wings here in the future. The rest of the meal was good as well, a wide variety of options are available, so I'd say this is a good option for family or business meals where you need something to please different palettes. Conveniently located directly on a HOP Streetcar stop as well.

The food was divine, the service was even better! We loved having Gabriella as our server. We came in from out of town and were so happy to stumble across this place. We will be back! Steak Salad was delish, as was the DAMN! That’s good!! double IPA! :)

Such a great spot. Stopped in between a work conference and heading to the Amtrak station. The beers are incredibly unique and they have a great selection. I had a great experience here and the staff members were very friendly. Next time in Milwaukee I look forward to going back. I didn’t try the food but maybe next time! They also had lots of flyers for various events that looked interesting.

My friend and I visited The Explorium Brew Pub in Milwaukee during St. Patrick’s weekend, attracted by its high reviews and convenient location near our event venue. Expecting difficulties due to the holiday, we were surprised to find it open but our initial relief quickly turned to disappointment.Upon entry, we were met with indifference and were not given a table, leading us to sit at the bar where we were overlooked for a considerable time. Despite reaching out for service and being assured by both patrons and a staff member that someone would attend to us, we were continuously ignored. This neglect, especially as one of the few BIPOC groups present, made us question if it influenced the service we received. Our anticipation, fueled by the pub’s acclaimed reputation, contrasted sharply with the actual poor service and uninviting atmosphere, tainting our overall impression of the establishment.

We went for trivia and cocktails. Really fun experience, accommodating server, and they make a great Manhattan with the LUXARDO cherries.

Food came out super fast, which was a godsend since our kid was being squirrelly. Food was good, drinks were good. We would come back.

I recently went to this location for trivia on a Tuesday. I sat at the bar and had great service with one exception. We ordered small snacks with drinks at the start of trivia. At about round 5, we wanted to order food to go. It was about 8:20p. The bartender informed us, "The kitchen closed at 8." I was astonished. It was a full bar with people still playing trivia. Trivia goes from 7p to 9p. Why not announce the kitchen is closing like last call? Why not stay open at least until 9 on trivia nights. I feel like that's a lost opportunity for sure and it will certainly limit us coming back.

Came here for dinner last night for the first time. Great environment very lively crowd. The service was good, nothing great, but to be expected for this type of establishment. Our server was not very informed about the menu and grabbed our glasses to refill them holding the inside which was not very sanitary. However, the food was great. We had the cheese curds, boneless wings, and the pizza. The pizza says on the menu that it may take 30 minutes but ours came out quickly. The cheese curds were great but I would say that they are only shareable for 2. Everything was well priced. I enjoyed eating at this establishment and will most likely return.

EXCELLENT service! Especially for a busy Friday night AND we sat at the bar. The staff were friendly, tentative, and kind! I also appreciated that the bartenders worked as a team and checked in on each other’s customers. Superb service! They apologized for the wait on our food, but we didn’t think we waited long at all! Our appetizers came out right away with our drinks and food came out shortly after! AND it was delicious!! They even gave us a token for free drinks next time we go!Vegetarian options: Plenty vegetarian options and substitutionsDietary restrictions: They have allergens clearly listed even for their beer options. Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options and substitutions

The Explorium has become a regular fixture on Milwaukee trips. Their beer list is extensive, covering many styles, as well as a number of hard seltzers. There has been more than one occasion where I have grabbed a couple of cans to go of the Milwaukee County stouts and a barleywine or two. They also have Milwaukee's smallest liquor store if you need other libations to go. I haven't had too much of the menu, but from what I have had, it's good bar food and their Cubano is certainly one I'd have again. Service has always been friendly and knowledgeable about whatever is on tap.
